Micro Motor Warehouse "Dark Edition" - coreless motor set, 8.5x20mm (speed: insane), geared, plug'n'fly for the Latrax Alias CL-0820-17-11T

If you have an Alias Quad? Or plan on getting one? You need to invest in a set of these motors for when the stock ones start to burn out. And burn out they will! LaTraxxas has been good in replacing defective motors and seemed to have run it's course of using up it's stock of them. However. These are a brushed motor and even after say, 40-50 runs. One or more of them will fail. There's nothing wrong with the Quad itself, so get a set of these "Dark Edition" motors. You will notice a dramatic increase in speed and performance once you install these. The Co. that makes them, really know whet they are doing. I have Two of these Quads and have upgraded both to these and they fly like you wouldn't believe! The stock ones are also right around $30.00 for a set, so you not spending but a few dollars more for these performance ones. Get them you'll be very glad that you did!

When flown head to head against stock motors, my testing proved exactly 33% higher in a timed vertical comparison and 33% faster in horizontal drag races. It also used up the batteries 33% faster. All things considered, I believe these are great motors that most people don't have the skills to need. Still - you should get them if you need even one motor. Change them as a set.Be aware. What probably burned out your first motor was trying to make it go when it couldn't (like hung up on grass). That will burn these up just as fast!Recommend.

I bought these because I read that the stock Traxxas Alias motors burned out quick and these had more punch. They made my quad shake when hovering and one motor burned out withing a few days. I ended up putting the stock motors back in and have not had a problem since.

Lasted about 10 batteries worth. one Motor went out, put in an old stock one, then another dark edition went out about 4 motors later.

Way insane and 1000% better quality than the cheap OEM motors.

10 bucks cheaper then stock replacement and much faster more stable.
