War in East Africa 1939-1943 (Despatches from the Front)

This book and others, written of late, allows me to cross-reference and clarify that certain occurences did happen, assuring a more accurate finding of the facts and evidence. My main object of my search is HMS Bachaquero LST (Land Ship Tank RN 1940-1946). "Churchills favourite ship". The fist amphibious, front loading tank landing ship, called a ship as it was too large to be a form of landing craft as it could carry most of these landing craft on its deck. Also my Father was a Petty Officer Stoker from 1941 to 1945 on the Bachaquero. Thus my keen interest on the ships travels and war experiences. Well written and authored book. Enjoyable read , info matches with some new material from the book, thus helping my research.
