Not as good as when I bought replacements from gopro
Not as good as when I bought replacements from gopro. Other comments on the lens being cloudy, for me the lens did arrive cloudy like it had been sitting in the bag for a while. A little spit shine and some good rubbing with the right cloth helped but again, not as good as the original. Saved some money though so the value is there.

Needed cleaning right out of box
Lens had water stains or something on it right out of the box. Had to clean with acetone to get the spots to come off. I guess you get what you pay for... Otherwise the lens works just fine. The gaskets are fine and the replacement screws as well.

good but needs additional stuff
Everything was as ordered but when installing, the outer ring with the screws (which is not included) snapped. An additional outer ring should be included in case this happens to someone else. I ended up just ordering a used case already put together for not much more than the replacement lens. Would not order a replacement lens without an outer ring again.

Easy to install with a small screwdriver
Finally got around to changing my GoPro Hero 2 case lens. Easy to install with a small screwdriver. Always keep a spare on you when you're far from home. Scratched lens ruined all of my Zion national park footage and I sure wish I thought to get a spare lens back then.

Lens replacement arrived all scratched up already and seller doe not respond to attempts to contact for return... The lens is not made of glas, but rather cheap plastic...

Definitely recommended over buying the entire housing case! Very easy to install and holds up great!Make sure you have a screwdriver that will allow you to take the small screws out of your housing! Don't worry about stripping the original screws (as long as you get them out) since this kit comes with new screws.

Lens was unusable! It was foggy, I tried to clean it, but the glass was defective. I could not return the item, so I am out the money. DO NOT BUY!

Great Replacement Lens!
This item replaced a severely scratched lens after a crash on the motocross track. This cover was inexpensive, contained the screws and other parts necessary for repair, and was simple to replace. Shipping was sloooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww as it was shipped from Hong Kong, but I knew this beforehand and purchased the item anyway since I wasn't in a hurry.
