Powell Furniture Masterpiece Floral Demilune Powell Console Table, Brown and Gold 42 x 31.5 x 15.5

After reading reviews about damage and missing parts I was hesitant to order this table. When I found it on Amazon for $100 less than another popular furniture site I decided to risk it. I’m so glad I did. My table arrived quickly, well packaged, and damage free. The only missing part was a small washer that fits onto one of screws for the legs but it had no effect on the assembly. Here are some things you should take note of:Each leg has a plastic piece that screws into the bottom of the “hoof” so you can adjust the height of the leg to fix any slight wobble. The legs are resin, not iron/metal. The color of the distressed areas on the legs is gold/brass. The trim on the wood parts looks like gold leaf. The top of the table is not smooth but has thin, shallow lines, engraved into the surface that run front to back in a pattern. I included a photo so you can see it. Assembly isn’t difficult. It’s easier with two people but I was able to do it by myself. The table is sturdy, has a nice weight to it, and comes with hardware to attach it to a wall to prevent tipping. It comes with the anchor already attached to the back of the table but it can be removed with a screwdriver. I didn’t use it but if you have small children it’s nice to have it on hand.Lastly, this is a very pretty piece but be realistic about the price point. Up close it doesn’t look like an authentic antique table that costs thousands. However, it DOES look like a decent quality piece of furniture that looks like it has a much higher price than this listing. I would definitely buy it again.

This table is beautiful and adds a wonderful design to my entryway. It's easy to put together and sturdy. It's the perfect size if I need to put it behind a sofa as well in my open floor plan.

My wife and I have been looking for a console table for our living room. We looked everywhere. We wanted something that looked high end without the high end price. We found this one at another site but they were asking about 3x more for it and would have to be put on back order. We decided to look at amazon and we found it here for way less $$$. We were skeptic since we didn't see it with our bare eyes. When the Item came, the box was really heavy which was a good sign. We put it together and was really happy and satisfied. The only reason we are not rating it a 5 star is because the horse legs that we thought was either metal or real wood are not...The top and bottom shelves are real/good and heavy wood, very heavy. The top wood has a nice gold floral design that makes it look very antic and expensive.... but the legs look to be some cheap boiled wood or even plastic that's been carved and shaped like horses and painted to look like dark wood. Its terrible there are no weight to them. We were really worried that the legs wouldnt be able to hold the heavy wood top and the bottle wood shelve, so we wanted to wait before giving a review..But so far so good. Its been several months in use and the table stands strong and over all it looks really expensive and stylish. No one can tell that the legs are fake not even by touching them. We have gotten so many compliments on the table that it eases our worries about the legs. Just wanted to WORN YOU, if you are looking for an ALL WOOD Console table, this many NOT be your first choice. HOWEVER, you are looking for high end style with some good wood without the high-end price>>>THIS IS IT. We think it was a good purchase since we got it here for 3 x less from the other website.

Absolutely love this console. It is very elegant and looks far more expensive than the actual cost. Matches my equestrian themed furnishings perfectly. Very easy for a single person to assemble.

I thought this table was beautiful in the pictures. The floral pattern perfectly matched my antique clock in the dining room. The seller offered me a hundred dollar discount so you know I jumped on it in a second. I rearranged the dining room furniture and waited anxiously. Then the table got here. It was indeed very pretty. Only one problem: The top had large gouges in very conspicuous places. These were not little nicks, and they could not have happened in transit. The manufacturers knowingly and deliberately sent me defective, damaged material, hoping I like some other reviewers would be too lazy to send it back. This is the worst online purchase I have ever made. It would be one thing if they had accidentally sent it in less-than-protective packaging. But what gets me is that with this particular error, they had to see the shoddy work and make the conscious decision to pack it anyway. I am leaving this less-than-flattering review in hopes that the next customer will receive far better service than was shown me and several other purchasers.

I like the look of this table. It was easy to put together. only problem was the bag of screws was opened and spilled throughout the box and 2 washers were missing. I found 2 in my garage to fit it so no problem. the description said the legs are Cast so I assumed metal of some kind but they are lightweight and feel more like plastic. Looking at it without feeling each piece no one can tell. It looks good.

The table itself looks nice. The brackets attached to the pieces were mid-aligned and the holes were drilled incorrectly. Onced assembled, it’s horribly crooked. I was able to remove half the screws and ‘torque’ the shelves so they’re reasonably straight, but I won’t be able so place anything heavy on the shelves with only half the screws attached. Also, the horses are not silver like the pictures. They’re really just the same wood color as everything else.Overall very unhappy but it would have been worse to attempt to repack and return.Avoid unless you want a large object on your hands.
