Quackenstein Hatches a Family

I saw some interview somewhere where Kristen Bell (better known in my house as Sarah Marshall) said that she likes reading this book to her kids and I figured - hey, I like reading with my kid and I think she is pretty funny so maybe we should check this out. So I bought it. Point: Sarah Marshall.This story is written in verse so it flows really nicely, the illustrations are just wonky enough to be interesting, and it centers around a grumpy old curmudgeon who deep down really wants to be loved. Buy it. You'll love it, too.

My daughter can't put this book down! Found out about it on youtube. Read by Kristen Bell! Love the words and my 3yr can read the entire book by herself! Thank you!

Love this author. I met her when I was teaching. She has a way of rhyming words and using bigger words yet making them make sense (or have obvious meaning). He stories are also fun to read.

I can’t read the book at all. On an iPad or Mac. The words are all mushed up. I bought to read aloud for an online read aloud and I was pretty disappointed . I’ll contact Amazon about that :(

Tried to open on several devices but was unable to read because the words were jumbled together. Very dissatisfied with this purchase

I love this book, possibly more than the children I read it to. It's a cute family book all ages can enjoy!

Really fun book ... And this author's book 'Hampire' is even better. The term 'Hampire' has become part of our families vernacular (used whenever someone is getting hungry-grumpy). We all wish we could find more books by this inventive author.
