Good quality it’s just missing a part that allows it to stand up

I do a weekly podcast in French. To damp echoes, I often record on the floor. The sound is flawless that way -- the carpet eats all the echoes -- but it's miserable. I hoped this would let me do the same at my desk. 5 minutes of tests were enough to get me to return it -- the recordings were indistinguishable from it not being behind my mic at all.

I still use it.. It is perfect for a str8 up mic stand not the boom stand but it works good, great sound for my set up

It is perfect for my small desk and helps get a clearer sound for voice overs.

This item and description is not accurate at all. What I received, the stand was plastic and flimsy. And the one parts I could have used and ordered it for will not fit with a SM57 or SM58. Completely worthless. Will be returning.

Fits on my desktop and at least makes me think it's doing something. Bought this for home recording studio vocals and thought a little more mic isolation would be good but it's already pretty quiet where I live. Looks professional and folds up nice and is fairly affordable so I like it enough but can't really tell if its doing much at this point.

Pros-The build quality met my expectations.-It came with all the parts I needed to customize it and use it how I wish.-it was easy to mount onto my boom mic arm.Cons- when it arrived the foam had been pulled off of the glue and was detached from the back of the isolation shield.- some parts were misaligned (mostly near the hinges).-the screws also kept on coming loose and I had to add washers between them so that they wouldn't become loose.Overall this product is well priced and is cheap compared to other isolation shields I found.This was worth the money I spent and would recommend this product to others who are looking for a cheap isolation shield.

The Isolation shield is pretty small and can be mounted onto a mic stand, although doing so will off balance the mic stand. A microphone can also be attached to the stand that comes with the Isolation shield. The only issue I had was one of the screws came lose, but this was mainly because I used to travel with it to work and bring it back home.It also does an amazing job in removing the reverb. If ever needed, I would happily buy this again.

Great for my in-house studio. I wanted to shield my mic from surround noise and it was very easy to mount my mic onto it. I have a CAD U37 USB Studio Condenser Recording Microphone with a Dragonpad pop filter and I am very satisfied with my little set.
