well, it looked like a good gauge, easy to read, easy to install, thats the good. but it is not accurate at all. I installed it on my smoker & brought it up to temp of 250 degrees, the heat did not feel right to me so I put my set on thermometer which I know is accurate inside my smoker it read 125 degrees. I kept on cooking & watching my set on gauge. I got it to temp of 250 degrees & looked at this one it read 425 degrees. So this one is not worth A dime. Very disappointed.
