An amazing insider's look
An outstanding insider's look at how artists see themselves, each other, and how weird it can be to interact with everyone in the art world: dealers, interns, buyers, and, yes, other artists.Composed of short interviews, this book gives is completely engrossing. It's also a beautiful little piece of artwork itself. I can't recommend I like your work highly enough.

Two Stars
Okay, if you really need to read someone else's sarcastic rants.

Some interesting moments
This small book (well, a booklet really) collates responses from various NYC contemporary artists on the theme of art and etiquette. There are some funny private view stories, a few cringe-worthy moments, and lots of bitching about those more successful than ourselves. Read alongside Pablo Helguera's 'Art Scenes' for a fuller analysis of the sociology of the contemporary art world.
