Top, top novel. Sci-fi at its best with powerful message of hope.
Can’t think of a graphic novel I’ve read which tops this one. Gripping story from first to last page in this 26 issue epic saga. The background setting is of a dystopian future where humanity has evolved to survive the expanding radiation of the sun. Initially not too clear but it all comes together as you delve deeper into the story. It exposes the best and worst of humanity. The Powerful message of maintaining hope in the most desperate of situations, is the constant theme throughout this story. You fall in love with the Caine family immediately and becoming significantly invested in their life stories which sees them rise for the LOWest depth of hopelessness imaginable.Every issue is a classic. Story full of twists and turns, strange new societies and intriguing characters which will impact you own outlook to life. Great parallels can be drawn to the hope that new generations must hold today in a world where environmental threats will challenge how we view the future and how this will impact of society’s values. The art initially was challenging but really fits the story line and allows your imagination to fill in the gaps. The more you go back to it the more beautiful it becomes. I’ve read it three times and enjoyed every page again. Loved everything about it.Thank you Remender and Tocchini. You’ve helped me rediscover hope in a bright future.

Started well but
The collection started out good and seemed to slowly get worse with each issue and then the finale was rushed to end it. Shame
