Dolls of good hard wood, light and smooth- must to send original dolls back, as they refused to disengage- new dolls arrived, clicking and clacking in the box-hurrah! For such smoothness, and solid constructed dolls, for future crafts.

Hairline crack in 4th doll and 5 and 6 get stuck together ... nothing that a little sanding and wood glue can't fix

On the largest nesting doll the top is wider than the bottom half. Also I am missing the top part to the 4th nesting doll. The dolls are pretty narrow so not sure how much you can really fit on there but they are tall.

I only received 5 of the set of 6. I think I am missing the 2nd largest doll as there is a huge size discrepancy. Also I cannot even open the 2nd smallest to get the smallest doll out.

Really nicely proportioned (it can be tough to find longer, thinner ones like these), and better yet they're great quality too.When you buy nesting doll blanks its important to remember that some parts being too loose or tight is inevitable, but this is mend-able,You can sand down dolls that are too tight and you can let a thin layer of glue dry over ones that are too loose, layering up as you need.That being said, compared to other dolls, the ratio of perfect fits to tight or loose fits is pretty good, I bought two sets of dolls, one had a third-to last that was too loose, and one had a largest doll that was too tight. Usually would be more of an issue but the dolls themselves aside from that were perfectly smooth and easy to paint on (I see a lot of reviews for nesting doll blanks describing gashes or splits in the wood).

Not very satisfied. Th second doll is way smaller than the first; almost half size.
