I hid these around the yard with the first one loosely covered with dirt from a fresh gopher hole... I casually pointed it out to the 4 year old and said "Hmmm, maybe its a gopher egg?" He had a blast chipping it open only to discover a dinosaur inside (way cooler than a gopher) From there we scoured the yard for about 2 hours locating the hidden eggs and cracking them open. We'll probably have another dozen in a couple months once they are forgotten :-)

I bought these dino eggs because my twins had a birthday and I set up a dino excavation area for them. Not only did they have a ball looking for the eggs, they enjoyed breaking the eggs to look for the dinosaur...they were all smiles during there covid 19 5th birthday bash...these eggs are fun and educational, it comes with a card that will tell your child all about the dinosaurs they found...I would encourage you to buy it if your child is a dinosaur lover they will have a blast.

This is a project only for a child who doesn’t mind getting dirty. My daughter is not the daintiest by any means, and enjoys all kinds of sensory play, but this was too messy. Your child has to want to play with, basically, mud.The quality is great and the concept is great but it didn’t work for my daughter as I thought it would.

These were great for my kids. We have to soak them in water for a few seconds to make it easier for them to dig through. Keeps them busy and entertained! I try to ration the eggs so they last longer :-)

We purchased these for a childcare program in our public school system. THE KIDDOS LOVED THEM!!! They want to know when we are getting more. Easy to break through but not so easy that it takes the fun out of it.

I have a autistic grandson and he loves them! For his birthday this year we are going to bury the big egg in the backyard and have him excavate and discover his treasure!

Very happy with product. Love that it focuses on STEM for my 2 year old. It is a great mix of his love for tools and dinosaurs.

They are great at keeping my toddler occupied for a good 45 minutes. The downside is the mess. Keep it in the tub or outside. The dust stains everything when it gets wet.
