Stylish, fantastic and quick shipping. Don't listen to the weirdos giving super nitpicky reviews. People love being upset, but there's really no reason to be about this rug. Additionally, there's a review about how there was a bug found in this rug. What is wrong with you? It's an insect. How on earth is the manufacturer responsible for a single insect being transported with the rug. Stuff happens and that reviewer needs to get a life and find other things to complain about.

Beautiful rug! I ordered this for the tiled kitchen in my studio. The rug is much softer than I was anticipating. Most jute rugs are rather hard and uncomfortable to walk on but you can stand with bare feet on this rug. Also the color is very nice, there are varying shades on beige and tan throughout.

I've had this for 3 months and it continues to shed all day everyday. Unless you want this to shed all over your entire house do not purchase. I was hoping it would stop after a bit but it has actually gotten worse. If you sit on it or drop something on it, you and it will be covered in what looks like shaggy dog hair that is difficult to clean or remove. If one of my kids drops a couch pillow or sweatshirt on it, it needs to be washed or vacuumed. Seriously, no joke. And trying to reach amazon on this specific order to file a complaint is very difficult. I guess leaving a public review is the only thing I can do.

After much browsing and reading reviews, I decided on this rug. I was looking for something neutral but still nice looking and the fringe added a nice touch. It came quickly and it's just fine on the feet! It does shed some dirt but nothing too bad. After a few months, more and more spots starting unraveling, and it will not stay straight. It's curved in the middle and does not look good anymore after 4-5 months.

I am honestly super weirded out... either this rug was used by someone who lives in the sahara desert... or... it comes with magical sand bunnies that live under and within the woven fabrique. Honestly... the rug is quite beautiful, of course i read reviews... and then for whatever reason i wanted to try it for myself. This is something i will be working on- within myself. Anyways, the rug left a legit LAYER of sand/dusty dirt underneath. Its going back where it came from and i apologize to the next buyer who might get it... but it wasnt my fault! Maybe it will be sold off with other bulk returned items and we can get a laugh when we watch youtube sensations wait a month for their amazon return bundle they bidded on and won. Until then, im happy i got it out of my system (buying/trying this rug for myself.) Good riddance nasty dusty old rug!

This rug is perfection, exactly what I was wanting. I ordered the 6x9. It is actually soft to walk on, which surprised me. The rug arrived off the UPS truck wrapped in a very thick plastic, and well protected. I noticed some reviews noted a smell when unpacking, but we did not notice that at all. I am familiywih working with and using natural jute in my home so maybe that is why I didn’t notice it. We have had the rug laid on the hardwood flooring in our dining room for five days and haven’t had any residue or fibers from the rug on the floor whatsoever. I am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent rug. The quality is very thick and seems to be woven very sturdy. Feels great on bare feet as well. I love it for our hallway, as it adds warmth that was missing in that area from our hardwood floors. I purchased it in the color grey and it has a few very subtle different colored fabric pieces woven through it ; darker brown, brown that makes it on the warmer side. If your looking for a hall runner rug get this rug you'll love it!

For the price, this rug is great. I haven't had issues with it unraveling so far and I've had it for 5 months in an area that gets a good amount of use, but no kids or dogs around. I've vacuumed over it a couple times with no issue. The only thing is that i took it outside and hung it over our porch rail once to clean, and i didn't' realize there was a corner of the railing that was pushing on a spot on the rug and it made a little indent. I left it outside for hours so it's my fault, i've bee able to push the kink out a little bit but i still notice it (others dont). The other thing i didn't think of is that if this goes under a table you cant really just pull the chairs out (duh, why didn't i realize this before) So the rug is in a different area of the house than what i expected. Either way for the price of a jute rug i'm happy. This was my first jute rug and the price was very important in making my decision.

I felt compelled to write this review because this rug has such mixed reviews online. Contrary to many of the reviews my rug came perfectly packaged, impeccably clean and it really hasn’t shed much at all so either the company has changed some of their practices or people really don’t understand what a natural fibre rug is. Yes there are a few visible knots but they are part of the character of a hand woven rug! They aren’t loose and they aren’t pulling apart at all. I can’t say enough good things about this rug! It’s GORGEOUS! It’s soft under foot, it really doesn’t shed...and I have REALLY dark floors. This rug is an absolute steal. BUY THIS RUG!!!! You won’t regret it.

This is the only Amazon review I've ever bothered to write and also one of the most regrettable purchases I've ever made. At first, I was pleased with the carpet. It doesn't look identical to the photos, but it does look nice. It was not long before I noticed a huge issue, however. Small fibres were breaking off of the carpet and spreading throughout the room. At first, I thought they were fairly large and I only noticed them on my socks, but I had overestimated their size. Eventually, I realized that extremely small fibres would be lifted off of the carpet and into the air when I walked on it.The fibres look a lot like dust, but they pierce skin and act as an itching powder. Kids would lay on the floor and then complain of itching. The clothes they were wearing had to be washed several times because they had so many of these fibres embedded in them. The fibres looked like dust in the air, but I knew they weren't. Eventually, the surfaces of furniture ended up covered in this crap and the air in the room became noticeably filthier than the rest of the house. I tried washing the carpet, dusting often, and also buying an air filter, but it didn't help much. After a few months, I threw out the carpet. This is almost certainly the worst $100 I have ever spent.

I used the runner as a back door mat. All normal mats are too small for French windows, this runner is ideal, hard wearing & blends in well.

I'm so glad I decided to purchase this rug in spite of the negative reviews! It is positively the most beautiful jute rug I have ever seen, and the quality is top notch! This rug totally complements my coastal-chic home. I will definitely purchase a second one! Yes, it does shed a little, but come on people...this is jute! If you use the soft brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner and give the rug a good brushing on both sides in circular motions (with the vacuum turned on), this will help dislodge loose dust/fibres and give the rug a good cleaning. Do this weekly to help keep your rug...and house clean.

Do yourself a favour and do not order this carpet unless you want a mess in your home. Honestly, I'm disgusted. The package came to us today, it didn't appear to have ever been opened. As we unrolled it it looked like there were tree branches woven into it, and then the worst surprise as shown in the photo. That dirt came right out of the carpet as it was unrolled. My clean floors no longer are. I've not added one bit of dirt to the pile, the plastic is the wrapping from carpet roll and the other photo shows the wood. Needless to say I am sending the carpet back and would encourage the company to look at their process and prep of material used to make carpets. If I wanted woven tree bark I would have just gone outside and removed some. I spoke to amazon and they are amazing!
