These are high-quality and very comfortable chairs. I had read the reviews about them being a challenge to put together, so I invited over a girlfriend who is adept at reading directions (I usually toss directions and just jump in), and told her that dinner would be on as soon as we finished the chairs. Although we made quite a bit of progress, we ate dinner in our old chairs that night. The next morning my husband and I delved into the project again and finished four chairs in a few hours. It is not that the assembly is difficult or confusing, it is just that these are quality chairs and they fit together snuggly. It takes a lot of time to put all the screws into their proper places.Lessons:1) Take the time to get set-up somewhere with space and a safe place to keep your tools. Give yourself a few hours because it is not a quick project.2) The plastic comes off of the screws in a way that allows you to see the letter number for each item. Keeping them in place is handy as you are referencing the directions (we cut our first set open and regretted that decision).3) We found that a few screw holes were filled with overspray from the paint. We used a small (think eyeglass size) screwdriver to remove it, but be careful not to strip the threads.4) Do not tighten the screws until everything is in place.Overall, I don't mind the extra effort to assemble such high-quality and comfortable chairs.

Who ever thought that allen screws were the way to go....Needs a new job!

There were a few mirror dents and scuffs. The chairs are packed in very tight without much packing material. The box is pretty heavy so it's going to be punished by the delivery driver. Was able to get a close match in paint. Rust-oleum American Accents Dark Walnut in a satin finish. There was an extra off every item in the hardware assembly packet. Overall satisfied, we had a set very similar to these. A weld failed on the base after many years of constant use. The fabric still looks like new. I'm confident these will last a long time.

Unfortunately they are not sling chairs. Not good if you have lower back issues. But they are easy to assemble and durable

Nice chairs fairly easy to put together and attractive. Can’t believe they are meant for outdoor use.Today we had a brief rainstorm. Eight hours later after a sunny, breezy, 95* day, I sat in a pool of water. These chairs whole water like a sponge. Can’t understand how anyone can design these for outdoor patio use.

These are exactly what I was looking for! The assembly was not difficult, all pieces lined up with no problem. It is important when assembling the seat, back and sides to leave the bolts slightly loose until all are installed and then fully tighten after all pieces are connected. Also, the tools supplied will work however if you have your own tools they will be much easier to work with than the "throw away" tools that are sent with product.All in all good product and no issues so far!

I bought these chairs about 4 weeks ago as we just bought a house and needed something to sit outdoors during few sunny days we get in this area. Surprisingly the package arrived much earlier than originally expected which was nice!First of all, the best thing is that this chair took only about 15-20 minutes each to put together, instructions are basic but do the job of explaining with pictures. The only thing I would recommend is that don't tighten all the screws when putting the side handles and back piece, leave them little loose. I learnt that when I was putting my first one together as you do need little bit of wiggle room to get the screws in holes. Once you have all the screws in, then tighten all of them. Also, recommend using a rachet handle instead of the provided L-shaped key.Super comfortable and made of good quality. Very sturdy....my son is 6.2' and 240+ lbs and had no issues sitting in it and the chair swiveled nicely.I am going to order some more to make it a full set of 4 (instead of just 2) as I really like them. Highly recommend!
