Fragile construction, Doesn't come with instructions if QR code damaged.
First of all, this came as a plastic bag with a QR card and several other bags of the building bricks in it. THAT IS TO BE EXPECTED, if somebody ordered it and was surprised by this, I don't know what to say, but that alone is not worth dropping it to one star as I've seen in other reviews. If you are, like me, unlucky with the QR code however, and it was either damaged by folding in package or otherwise unreadable, then you're still not out of luck. I don't know how good the seller is at emailing PDFs as some other reviews seem to indicate, because I puzzled it out myself. Not without help, as this model, "errors" included, was on the site Re-Brick-Able (search for MOC Constitution Class Enterprise Star Trek) and is actually on the low end of their estimates for the price of buying all of the building bricks individually. So already a good price, fast shipping and an enjoyable product once the other frustrations were out of the way. The "errors" in this case were extra pieces not used in the model itself, presumably in case something gets lost or miss packaged. Something I would promote if you are not sure of your packaging quality, but the fact that these additional pieces are also listed on ReBreakAble implies that this is related somehow.THESE ARE NOT LEGO... should be obvious again, they don't claim to be LEGO. I wasn't expecting LEGO, just LEGO-compatible, and that's what I got. Fully compatible, and as LEGO-compatible building bricks go, these are above average levels of quality. About on the level with Kre-O bricks (and roughly in scale with the other Kro-O StarTrek models, even if this is Original Star Trek style and the Kre-O only produced reboot Star Trek style models) Everything holds together once the model is built... but you can see the seams and some pieces can rotate or otherwise look imperfect. Which in itself wouldn't be the worst thing if not for, and again this is not just expected but quite unavoidable, the model wasn't so fragile. The Enterprise itself is an engineers nightmare of structural weak points, and couple that with above average but imperfect quality control for interlocking tightness, fully constructed the model will not survive any form of drop test. Just tipping over onto it's side breaks it into pieces. This is NOT a model to give to a small child, this is a display model (a young but not small child would enjoy it building it, but it will fall apart in their hands with any level of play).Would I purchase it again? Yes, I intend to give it as presents to other building brick enthusiasts and/or Star Trek fans. Would I RECOMMEND it to the average Amazon purchaser? No. Too many small annoyances. If you can get past those, it's well worth it. If not... well, while I don't agree with all the low ratings, I at least understand where they're coming from.

To boldly go where no one has gone before
I was initially skeptical about this set, but that quickly disappeared when it arrived. The pieces are fairly well manufactured, not quite up to Lego quality but definitely not terrible.I was already aware that no printed instructions came with the set, but rather a QR code to download a pdf version for it. This worked well and I had no issues. Instructions were clear and straightforward to follow.I was happy with the size of the set, makes a good desk decorationOverall, I liked this set! And I think any Star Trek fan would enjoy this too!

No instructions included. Stay away!
No instructions included! Unable to download with QR code. How am I supposed to build this? Would it kill you to include a page of printed instructions? 1 star rating.

Great build!
Parts are of good quality, though there were a few imperfections here and there. Should not bother you unless you are a Lego purest. The build was super easy, and the instructions were professionaly done. The saucer section does not connect to the neck very well, and is held there very percariously. That said, it only took me a minute of problem solving with my own personal parts to improve on the design. There is also room in this build for further detail and tweaking which makes it exciting for customization. This product could probably benifit from havinging printed instructions, but I had no issues with the QR code. Still, a step by step instruction on how to use that could probably benifit those unfamiliar with the format.

Could be a good model, but uses poor quality pieces
This could be a really nice model to display on your shelf or desk. Sadly the manufacturer sources the parts from very poor sources. Many of the pieces are quite loose when assembled and others required significant force to get them together. Even so, gaps along the edges are not uncommon. The underside of the saucer section is shown as round in all photos. Even the instructions show you using rounded pieces, however the manufacturer included a cryptic diagram that indicates you must use rectangular pieces instead of rounded ones. Not only does this drastically change the look of the saucer section, it causes weight imbalance as now you have extra material forward of the neck attachment. That attachment is loose as it is, and this makes it super fragile.Next, I needed a magnifying glass to read the instructions. They are done in 5pt and 4pt fonts. That is super small. Trying to fit everything on one small piece of paper rather than a standard size is a cost savings for the manufacturer but it made the job of assembly that much more difficult.I recommend you DO NOT buy this product. Substituting wrong parts and using such inferior parts are very poor decisions.

Instructions almost microscopic
Blocks mostly fit well and securely. One of the blocks had flash on it and 2 of the blue blocks don't fit well, and I can't see why.Instructions are almost too small to see. I was close to giving up and looking for a magnifying glass. Also, when constructing the bridge section the instructions show the first level as being connected and they're not. Even when the 2nd level is connected, there is still a 1x4 that is not connected. I recommend building step 22-24, which makes step 53 and then attaching it to step 25-27 and proceeding to step 28.

Great set.
Appears to have all the pieces. Started working on it last night and will add photos later. One thing to mention: Download the instructions as soon as you get this. You never know how long a link will remain active! PDF file is easy to read and diagrams are perfect.
