Very helpful.

Read many Christian books over the years and to one degree or another I've gotten something out of them all. What's readily apparent about this book, like few other books, is that it speaks directly to the spirit, quietly, with much insight and conviction. There's a surety and confidence that being in the Word continuously really shows.Confession. We are making one every day. Usually, and without realization, we're unaware of the kind of talk we engage in.We look to God's rich promises and then turn around and shoot them down with the things we say to and about ourselves, to others, about the things in life we're not pleased with. We say things contrary to those promises we want and they become of little or no effect.The Word of God, according to the authors, needs to be confessed despite what present circumstances reveal. The things that are seen are only temporary (temporal). The Word of God itself is living and eternal (see, John 6:63). Confessing what God says about problems, circumstances, situations, will bring peace, strength, and transformation. Personalizing the Word is also recommended.God has already given the believer everything necessary to live a victorious life but to live it you must be in the Word and speaking (confessing) it daily.Distractions, obstructions, etc. will be near and may cause a loss of focus. Then getting wrapped up once again in whatever it is you wanted to change or get away from is the consequence.Much encouragement is found in this book. Many examples of verses and their applications are addressed.This is one of those rare books where you say to yourself if only I'd gotten this book earlier.Well, you have it now and now is all that counts.

Easy to read and understand. They both use lots of scripture to back up their point. If applied as stated very useful. If you are looking for a quick and easy fix to your life it's not that but neither is the Bible. It is a book that should and will correct a lot of wrong teaching out there. It is very truthful. They both have a good understanding of this teaching. As Jesus said in Mark 11:23 "you can have what you say", but only is you learn to "say" correctly all the time. Anyway, it is a very good book if you are wanting to learn how to apply this type of teaching to your life. Kenyon is a very deep read sometimes but this is pretty easy I thought.

Very intellectualy entertaining. Enjoyed the relation with the bible secrets I played. Give alot of truth of the power of the mind. How alot has been hidden from society for controlling the human consciousness. Gives hope on your journey to becoming a good human even more.

Excellent resource. Two scions of Christian doctrine sound off on an important fact many psychologists and doctors know. Your words coming out of your mouth influence your brain to direct your body. If you say continually, "I feel sick," you can make yourself sick. If you affirm the words in that Bible which say what you are in Christ, you can counter the negative words which may come out of your mouth in speaking of yourself and your prospects. Interesting that Kenyon holds that, if you say, 'I believe in the power of God to heal me,' then say or think 'I'm not healed yet, so God must not mean to heal me,' you'll get nowhere. The double minded 'I'll believe in healing by the words of my mouth when I see the healing results' doesn't work because such waivering faith or lack of faith cancels out words of faith altogether, and you're back where you started.This is a fascinating book by two prominent Christian apologists. Well worth getting and reading.

I enjoyed every word of this book. Today more than ever before we need to be aware of the fact that the Word of God carries power! We cannot afford to speak anything other than what God speaks. I would recommend this book to every believer as I hear believers speaking words of doubt and unbelief, which are not God's words. They are being deceived by the enemy to speak his words.Thank you for this book, all the way through I felt my spirit leaping for joy. I could not stop reading to ponder the first time round. I have read it twice and am planning to read it again and again. It is faith building! I do not ever want another negative word to come out of my mouth. I WILL endeavor to speak only what God speaks. Thank you, thank you, thank you for keeping this and other such books alive. They are as fresh as ever for today.

This book does teach us that the words that we speak about ourselves can influence our lives. Great book. Very encouraging.

Great little book

Belle meditazioni ma cercavo un libro che descrivesse meglio l'argomento.

Ein sehr positiv anmutendes Buch. Inspirierend insofern, dass Gott uns die Wahl lässt was wir mit unserem Leben machen können. Wenn wir die Verantwortung nicht abgeben und sagen "Wir können ja nichts tun usw. " Es macht Mut zu beten und zu bitten und die dafür erforderlichen Hintergründe besser zu verinnerlichen. Jeder kann sich im Vorfeld selbst ein Bild über den Autor machen. Er ist im Netz ausreichend zu finden. In diesem Sinne empfehle ich es für die, die Gott unter diesem Aspekt betrachtet finden wollen.
