Ok for the Money
The leds are bright enough, with integrated resistors so they're ready for automotive use on 12v systems. And you get a fair number of them for the price. So why one star? The leads are like human hair strands. I soldered my power supply line, which is 18ga GXL copper, and I'm afraid the solder joint will just fatigue right off due to the skimpy gauge of the lead wire. And that's with an adhesive heat shrink wrap. This is going into a car door for ambient lighting and it just may be a matter of time before it fails and there's a live lead in the door.

Absolutely great product, terrible shipping
So I ordered these LEDs because they come pre-wired with the resistor which is very nice. These LEDs work fine at 9 volt up to 13 volts. I would not recommend pushing past a 12-volt load. The reason why I deducted a star is I finally got my package in the mail 7 days after the guaranteed delivery date promised making me not have the LEDs I needed to finish a project and costing me future business from a source that was potentially very lucrative. Long story short the whole reason why I pay for Prime is for Prime delivery ( we all know that Prime streaming is absolute crap) and their delivery has been going downhill drastically over the last few months. At this point it's gotten so bad that I cannot trust them to get me my items on time I have better luck going through eBay so that's who's going to be getting more and more of my business.P.s. this was an item that was fulfilled and shipped by Amazon.

Easy to wire, and quite bright!
I got these to run wiring for various 3d printed projects, including a Terminator skull for my son to use as a halloween prop. They're ideal for that purpose and can run off a simple 9v battery or one of the 12v battery packs with 8x AA batteries in them (I don't notice any visual difference in brightness between the two power sources).

Not for amatuer electrical hobbiests
I was ready to absolutely destroy this product in review. They ran super hot, failed often in cycles and were generally worthless to me. Well, that was my bad. I trusted the output power of 1Amp of my power source which means I should be able to line many in parallel up to (20ma X 50).My power source failed at simply two in parallel. That browned them out and caused them to fail. So, if you're going to use these be sure you have a solid power source. An automobile won't be an issue, but things like "wall warts (plug in AC to DC converters)" rated at a certain value are often not actually so powerful. The downsides of these are that hair stranded wire is very difficult to strip without damage. Look up "wiring strain relief" if you will be moving them or bouncing (like in a car). The other downside is the beam angle. It is very shallow and takes a lot of distance to truly spread out.

These are awesome!
These LED's come pre wired with a resistor making hook up very easy. I used these for most of my dash and control illumination on one of my older cars. These made installing new lights into the heater/AC control panel a breeze. Also on the headlight switch it took a little bit of ingenuity but it worked great once installed. Now I should never have to replace the light bulbs in the areas I used these in. The different colors are great too. I ended up using the white ones for a Ford due to it already having a green tint to the controls when illuminated. I am going to use the orange ones in one of my other cars dash to change the color from white to orange. They are also bright enough to add floor lighting along the edge of the lower part of the dash. Just hook them up to the original floor or dome lighting circuit and you can hide these under the dash pointing down for a great illumination effect. The possibilities are endless.

Don't buy
You get what you pay for. They are not bright and they will come apart very easily. Not worth the money. I would return if i hadn't already attempted to use them and they broke on me.

Great little LEDs
Great LEDs for a reasonable price. I used these to upgrade my HO scale train engine lights that were dimmer than I preferred. I plan to use more to upgrade the cars later on. The prewired and shrink wrapped leads made it easy to cut to length and solder onto my project.

EDGELEC 140pcs review.
These Leds are of standard brightness and would be good for indicator lights in a industrial or commercial application where the ambient room brightness is illuminated. And or at home for a science project they would be nice.Don't plan on using them to make a strobe or warning light to be seen at a great distance. The value of this purchase is very good for the price.Think about it , 140 pre-wired Leds for 13 bucks or so.I only tested one yellow Led with a 12 v battery.I would recommend this to any one interested.I rated this purchase at 5 stars.

Excellent quality
5+ stars - these little lights arrived in a perfectly labeled zip pouch (unlike other brands which arrived in an unmarked baggie leaving me to determine voltage, color, etc.) - all the essential details clearly written on the front of the pouch, good quality wires, light is nicely bright, overall an excellent product.
