Quite complete
I've a 2004 Escape and it is a devil to work on, two pounds of donuts in a one pound bag. This recognizes that it's not easy to work on and identifies things that can't be done by usual methods. Lots of of step by step photos. It also has some nice general guides for things like body work. I'm very pleased with it.

Very informative and useful.
This book provides just about everything you need to know about the Ford Escape. I found it very helpful after reading about a few repairs at my local library, and decided I may as well own the book for myself.

Chilton always been good for vehicle information
Product is good but they seem to scatter information all over book and don't show some schematics that are really needed

Good suplement to the owners manual,not a Bible for real repair work!
This text is ok for DIYer who knows how to think outside the book and has experience.I have a 2011 Escape and the book was vague and missing info for that year. It did have reminder of changes from one year to another. The diagram they give are normal flat drafts if you don't know how to read them they will do you no good. There was a towing wire hanging down and the manual said had nothing to say about it or did it have the drawing. It didn't have wire diagram for rear or front camera. It did have instructions on how to remove rebuild,&reinstall engine,but I wouldn't rely on as my only source of info,and I done this task in several other cars. Overall this is nothing like the hard cover Chilton I used 30yrs ago! I would use this as a supplement to the owner manual,but not as a Bible to do real repair work!

Bought my mother a used Ford Escape in really good condition, had some minor repairs needed so decided to order a repair manual.

The book was a waste of money
We needed a book to help with some significant repairs to our car right away. The book came very quickly, but when we looked up any of the problems we were having. The book just told us to take the car to a garage. If we could have taken it to a garage, we wouldn't have needed the book. Luckily we were able to figure the solutions to our problems on our own. The book was a waste of money. Hopefully sometime in the future it might come in handy.
