70% Alcohol Denat and made in the UK
1 litre that is ready to decant to handbag size containers. Ideal for varying members if a family. . It does not come with a pump but it does say on the Bottle.’refill’ and I knew what I was buying. It is made in the UK which I want to support and not imports from China. All Hand sanitisers are anti bacterial but not anti viruses. Only soap would do that job. There is no perfume to the gel but the strong alcohol smell upon application soon dissipates when dry, which is almost immediately. My only gripe is that it does not give the % of alcohol denat in the list of ingredients. I had to get that information from their website. It is 70%. I am a retired nurse and I am happy with the profuct.

Does the job but leaves a smell
It does the job and its great to have a large volume of sanitiser, but it does leave an odour of dog-food on your hands after using. (It's not the smell of alcohol while using, that is of course to be expected - I found that it leaves a distinct odour on your hands that is not pleasant.)Still recommend for use during the pandemic as I find the slightly thin consistency very good for ensuring you cover your whole hands, but I will try adding some perfume in to mask the smell.

Not suited for sensitive skin!
PROSALCOHOL CONTENT - Although there is no mention of how much alcohol there is in this hand sanitiser, there is definitely a high percentage (you can smell it) so I feel confident that it would kill most bacteria.SIZE - This is a large 1 litre bottle great for refilling small sanitiser bottles.PRICE - £9.99 for 1 litre represented good value for money compared to other sanitisers.CONSHIGH ALCOHOL CONTENT - This can be seen as both a positive and negative of hand sanitiser. If you have dry, sensitive skin or eczema you will find the alcohol content too high. I have slightly sensitive skin that is prone to getting dry and my hands were very dry within a few minutes of using this for the first time. If the product description had specified the alcohol content, I may have been able to make a better judgement before buying. Unfortunately I won't be able to use this product.SMELL - This product has a very strong smell of alcohol, which I find quite off putting.THICKNESS - The product is a little on the runny side, so I'm a little concerned it would leak from my upside down (lanyard) dispenser.

Stinks but probably does it jobs.
Like other reviews it does stink like dog food but you have to bear in mind the purpose of the product. There’s no way of knowing if it works like it should but assuming it does, I can put up with the stench. This works on two levels as it helps with social distancing!

Does the job
I find this product fine. Yes it smells of alcohol but no more than a strong spirit. At least it shows it does have alcohol unlike some dodgy hand gels out there. I think it’s hilarious that people complain that it is not nicely perfumed. There is a pandemic and this will kill the virus.

Good product
Don't be put off by some negative reviews - I've tried lots of sanitisers and this is fine. It's not overly runny and will cover your hands quickly. It dries fast and leaves no mess at all. I just don't see how an alcohol hand wash can smell 'nice' - I'm reassured by the smell (not unpleasant), in fact if my hands ended up smelling of roses I'd be far less assured. In any event, alcohol being alcohol it - and the smell - evaporates quickly. Still, don't let the facts get in the way of a whine! 🙄

Does have a different smell
It does have a funny and alcohol based smell but not that bad. Thinner than previous gels but might go further as a result. No mention of the alcohol content % on the bottle which is a concern. It says kills 99.9% of bacteria so hopefully it actually does.

It served a purpose.
It was handy to have during the pandemic, but it’s not the best I’ve had, it’s a little thin in consistency and when you try to rub it into your hands, it rolls up into little balls on the skin.
