5 Stars doesn't do this book justice!!
Ryan Kingston is the guy girls dream about. Polite and sweet in public but can get down and dirty in private. He’s the polar opposite of Queenie. She’s way more impulsive, she’s an act now think later kind of girl. One night, the two meet, and both spilled secrets to each other that they’ve never shared with anyone else. After all, they’re complete strangers, never to see each other again, and after that one explosive night, neither contacted the other again. Until 6 weeks later, when Queenie shows up with her father to work, her father that happens to be the general manager of the Seattle Hockey team, the same team Kingston plays goalie for. Neither was prepared to see each other, but now that they’re back in each other’s lives are they willing to take the risk? This has turned into one of my favorite series by Helena. A Secret for A Secret is a great addition to the All In Series, it’s full of humor and is such a heartwarming story. But don’t let that fool you, it is STEAMY, and King will have you swooning over him in a heartbeat. Helena absolutely nailed this story, and I loved that Queenie brought out a different side of King, but that he also brought out a different side of her. They were the perfect coupling and the true definition of opposites attract. I will also say, I LOVED that we got to catch up with Rook and Lainey, and Stevie and Bishop, as well as Violet and Alex. I think that’s what I love the most about all of Helena’s books and this one too, we get to catch up with past characters, and they truly play an integral role in current books. I’m ready for more Helena in 2020!

Highly entertaining!
A Secret for a Secret is the third book in the All In series. Helena Hunting has become well-known in the Rom-Com genre and rightfully so. You can always count on good humor to go along with a great story!Ryan "King" Kingston plays for the NHL's Seattle team and to put it mildly, he's got a crazy family. He's just learned some life altering news, so he does what he rarely does and heads to a bar to have some drinks. What he doesn't anticipate is taking a woman home with him and even beyond that, he doesn't ever expect to see her again. But you know how that goes...Queenie Masterson is trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. She's just recently lost her job and decided to move closer to her father, Jake, who is the GM of the Seattle NHL team. She ends up becoming his assistant and while she's good at her job, it seems that chaos tends to follow her. When King and Queenie realize that they were each other's one-night stand from weeks before things become complicated. They have chemistry like no other, but because they are both affiliated with the team, and Queenie promised her dad that she wouldn't date players, things hit a dead end before they can reconnect. Will that stop them though?King is amazing. He's quirky, but I loved that about him. He is so down to earth, caring, considerate and he's definitely a rule follower. The way he treats Queenie and stands by her, defends her and loves her is awesome. Queenie is short on self esteem and rightfully so based on things that have gone on in her life. I enjoyed seeing her grow as the book went on when she was surrounded by the right people.Another aspect that I loved is that we got to see people from previous books, including Alex and Violet, which is always wonderful. This was highly entertaining and I look forward to what Helena Hunting has to offer us next!

Kingston and Queenie are RomCom Royalty
Kingston and Queenie are perfect together - and pure Romcom royalty!Kingston is the last of the good guys - good looking, successful, treats people right, follows the rules - but when he gets some pretty shocking news he is out to go on a bender. Enter Queenie - she is sweet and a bit wild and trying to find her place in the world...just what a guy like King needs. After they part King resigns himself to never seeing her again - but fate has other plans....and of course she turns out to be the one girl who is strictly off limits.Their story becomes a slow burn of sweet moments and hot tension - until the heat between them is too much to deny.Along the way there are some wonderful side characters - some who I hope get there own stories and some who you will love to hate.Helena Hunting books are always something I look forward to and this one did not disappoint

Sweet but not enough tension
There’s no real conflict, either between the couple or even in the world around them. As in there IS conflict, but it is resolved very quickly and simply. For as straight laced and proper as Kingston was presented in the 2nd book in this series, I really thought Queenie would shake up his life and his feelings a lot more. I didn’t feel like there was enough tension/challenge to their love story and perhaps that may not have been the intention at all, but I think it would have been a more interesting story to see both the H/h spar with each other a bit considering they have such different personalities.Queenie probably isn’t as chaotic as she is made to seem either. yes there are mistakes from her past but they’re not so terrible that they can’t be overcome. This was still a sweet story, but not something I couldn’t put down.

So great.
4.5 StarsThis was simply beautiful. I can confidently say it was the best out of the series so far. While there is nothing extraordinary about it, everything just fit together so peacefully. King and Queenie call each other the calm and the chaos respectively, and I find that description so beautifully fitting. They are truly good for each other in an opposites attract kind of way, but it goes way beyond that as well. Usually opposites attract but they also burn through the novelty and excitement of it all pretty quickly. I loved that their differences were discussed in a way that didn’t gloss over them by preaching the whole “love will conquer it all” mantra. They discuss their differences, plan on how to deal and accept them while respecting each other’s needs and wants. The way anyone would describe King would probably be “perfect”. They wouldn’t be wrong, except, no one is perfect. He needed passion and healthy recklessness in his life and Queenie needed stability, support and understanding. To be honest I’ve never read of a more balanced couple.Reading this made me feel good, peaceful even. I realised that the writer reached a good balance where this was able to be a safe, sweet story that did not fall in the trap of being boring in the slightest.Apart from the story itself I loved reading about the other characters and their kids, especially Violet’s twins, one of whom will develop a sweet relationship with Queenie. I also liked reading the conversations about anxiety in children and ways of dealing and helping through art. This book was exactly what I needed at the moment and it was a great addition to the series. King, is the kind of hero we can say we love and want without adding “but not in real life” at the end.

Amazing Royalty filled story!
As always with a Helena Hunting book this story had me gripped and devouring every single word and falling in love with yet another hockey hunk!Every book I feel like I cant like the character any more than the previous book and yet I do!!! She just manages to write the perfect person every time.Rook and Bishop made me crazy happy but Kingston and his particular ways had me begging for him to get his HEA as soon as I met him!Hes straight laced (that driving lol).. hes sensible (milk drinking at the bar) and hes determined to be a great example to everyone... but along with that hes loving strong and protective of those that are in his corner.Queenie is a little lost bumbling through life after being told she wont be anything special but all that changes when she walks into a bar one night.Seriously didnt want to put this story down and absolutely love the fact we get Alex and Voilet updates too!Would read pretty much anything Helena writes by this stage as I always love what she gives us!

Kingston's story
The third book in the series, A Secret for a Secret starts with a chance meeting between Kingston and Queenie in a bar. Sparks fly, but little did either know how inadvertently connected they already were. When Queenie appears a few weeks later at pre-season training, King realises he spent a night with the daughter of his boss. And he really wants to spend many more with her.I loved this story! I loved King's calmness, and Queenie's chaos. Their chemistry was incendiary, without feeling forced or rushed. And the intimate scenes were 🔥.The humour is once again top-notch. I was howling laughing at the strawberry incident. Helena Hunting is an absolute pro at writing hilariously awkward situations, and Jake's exasperation was just brilliant. But there were also sweet moments, that wrench at your heart. As always, the supporting characters only add to the storyline, and it's always a delight getting more scenes between the players from the previous stories. The deodorant scene was genius. It was great to see that Rook and Bishop still wound each other up. Bishop's declaration outside of the beauty space was also a highlight.I could keep listing scenes, but I would rather you just take my word and read this series. If you love humorous romance with a lot of heart, and plenty of sizzle this is for you.Overall Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤Heat Rating: 🔥🔥🔥Emotional Rating: 💓😢😂😂😂

I loved it! Think it could be a good starter book for adolescent girls starting to read about romance and sex.
I loved how for once, the alpha male was a jackass and that you really emphasised that a beta male can still be attractive to women. I know that that is a real problem for mens mental health as it is for women’s mental health, who don’t look stick thin. I also loved how you tackled the mental health of all of the characters, as we all have something, even if we think it’s just us and the rest of the population is perfect.I loved that the female was complicated as hell as that was really realistic. Often, the women is supposed to be sweet and innocent and if they’re not that’s a bad thing. I loved how you emphasised that it’s really not a bad thing to enjoy or want sex. I think this would be a good book for teens or late teens to read because:I loved the realism of the sex! For once it wasn’t porn to skim read. I loved how there was a real dialogue and conversation of consent, talking about what they do and don’t like during sex and how that can or not be a turn on. I think this could be a really good book for teens or late teens to read because they can maybe get an idea of what is supposed to be normal, without it being cringe. I’m not trying to say this is good sex education, I’m saying that it could be and it was probably the best written modern sex scenes I have ever read.

When you didn't think anyone would beat Randy Ballistic as top man!
I never thought anyone would take Randy's place in my heart as top Helena Hunting book boyfriend, but I think Ryan 'King' Kingston just did. Oh my God, I loved him with his quirky little ways, his neatness, his bizarre dress sense and his ability to turn all that on its head and be a freak between the sheets. As for Queenie, well she was exactly the woman he deserved. What I loved about this book was that Helena turned the secret romance trope on its head, and had them come out straight away - the drama coming from elsewhere. Secret romances can get samey and a little tired, so I was overjoyed when King took the bull by the horns and insisted on speaking to Jake - who I hope is going to get his own book! The supporting cast as usual were fantastic, although I wasn't sure where King's dad disappeared to at the second attempt of a family gathering. It also warmed my heart to see Violet again and while she was quite tame in this book, she still made me giggle. Helena Hunting just has a way of dragging you into a story and wrapping you in so much goodness you never want to leave. Thoroughly recommend this series and can't wait to hear what's coming next. A huge 5 stars!
