It's Okay
If you want to have fun and see what things look like from the air, this is a fine, cheap camera for that. If you want to shoot aerial wedding videos, this is not the camera for you. The camera will create huge files. Over 100 Megs/min., but it's not HD and it's a 4:3 aspect. I used it on my v262.As soon as I felt confident enough about my flying skills, I bought a Mobius Action Camera 1080P HD Mini Sports Cam - Wide Angle Edition .A picture is worth a 1000 words, but I can't upload the camera's video to Amazon because they are too big. So watch a video from the camera on my youtube channel. (user name jctoad). The early videos are shot with this camera. The camera used is in the video description if you are not sure. Compare them to the later ones from the Mobius and you decide if spending 3 times as much for the Mobius is worth it to you. Also note that the vibrations in the video "jello" (especially from the Mobius) are not the fault of the cameras. Google "video jello effect" for more info.

Good seller help. May want to buy better memory card
When I first tried this with the quadcopter the images were miserable. In fact, images and video were mostly color lines. I contacted the seller who recommended I reformat the memory card (microSD) or try another card. Still same quality after reformat so I put in a Sony microSD card I had from an Action Camera. That was it. The video quality is pretty good. Not professional but good enough for my kids to do some stunts while a camera floats over their head.I recommend buying a higher quality memory card for it. Or at least be prepared to if you have the trouble I had.

camera settings for PC
My PC reads a error. Needs to recognize camera setting and connection. Also on transmitter the upper left and lower right buttons are indicated to operate cam. How does one know if indeed it's functional.

Poor image quality
This camera is pretty horrible in terms of quality of the images. Colors are completely off (e.g., green trees are purple). I tried unplugging and plugging it back in, but the quality didn't change. I would not recommend this camera solely for that reason.Otherwise, everything worked as expected and for $25, it is an okay "stand in" until I get a better camera (or trust my flying skills enough to take my GoPro up in the air). However, had I known the quality was so bad, I would have gone with the more expensive ($90) Mobius HD camera which gets very good reviews. This one works fine as a trainer, but the poor quality is a real bummer.I'm giving it two stars because everything else about this camera is decent: The camera lens can be tilted up and down, the clips to attach it to the quad are solid but it can still be easily attached and removed without any tools, the USB reader that is included works well. The camera is also very light.I've been using the USB reader with my GoPro's memory card as it is faster than the GoPro's USB connection (and those GoPro videos can be *large*).Finally, as has been noted elsewhere, if recording video, you need to stop recording before you disconnect the battery at the end of the flight or you will lose the last video. This took a little getting used to. Given the short duration of the flights, I found I was just turning on the video at the beginning and turning it off at the end of the flight. If I forget to turn it off, I lose the entire flight's video.

Amazing camera for the price.
Purchased this camera as I wanted something for my V262 quadcopter. Did not expect to get such good video, but this delivers very well. Easy to mount and plug in. About the only issue would be when aiming the lens straight ahead you can see the bumpers in the frame. Will probably just remove some of that material to get a better view. Pointing the lens down helps and you get an excellent video of where you fly.Audio is terrible as all it picks up are the 4 motors, but that is to be expected. Be careful plugging the small SD card into the adapter. If you push to hard it will insert too far and become very difficult to retrieve. No problems with that when plugging into the camera.Overall an excellent value. For my needs it is a 5 star all the way.

Average image quality.
Image quality average. My V262 got away from me on a mountain top never to be found after three days of searching. If I were to purchase another quadcopter I would look into a better camera.

Good Value for Price
Works great, the pilot needs practice to get full potential from it
