Walking the Bible 1st (first) edition Text Only

I purchased book as a companion to other books written by Mr. Feiler. It serves to provide nice photos of the locations Mr. Fielder visits in his travels. However, this book’s hardback cover had substantial damage to its cover. In my mind it’s costs should have been more deeply discounted.

1st saw the 3 episodes on PBS which was wonderful. This book is great since it offers same journey as the series did but allows you can delve a little deeper.

The author takes you on a journey where you are lost and then found. This is where humanity started, this is where the Savior came and went. A real true traveler's guide to days of old.

I am doing some studying to prepare myself for a trip to the Holy Land(Israel) soon. This is a great source for anyone interested in Israel, the land of the Bible, etc, whether making a trip or just to add to your own Bible study! I am so glad I was able to locate this at Amazon.com! Now, I am passing it around for others to see. They are loving it also! One said, "I don't need to go to Israel, I've seen it in the great pictures in the book!" I purchased this book as a companion to the Kindle version of Feiler's Walking the Bible book. The photography is beautiful and really captures the starkness and beauty of the areas in which Feiler traveled. Because I bought it as a companion to the un-illustrated book, I just wish that the photos in the picture book were more clearly aligned with the chapters in the prose book.

I loved this audio CD.

Amazing book !! Out temple gives them to the young teenagers at their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. It makes a wonderful addition to their personal libraries. Bruce Feiler did an amazing job with the photos. The book brings to life the places that sunday school students learned about in their studies. Delivery time was excellent

For those with a bent for history, geography and photography

This was a perfect match as I was reading the text "Walking the Bible". Both are now favorites of mine.
