Great magnifier
The magnifier it's awesome, but I order it twice and twice it came with no mount. The item description states that it comes with an integral mount, but the only thing I received was a lonely magnifier and no way to mount it to my pew pew.

If you are in need of a good magnifyer for a good price than this one is for you.
I got this to try out on my highly customized DPMS as a magnifier to my Vortex Strike Force. As a 5x magnifier, it works very well. It is very clear and does not fuzz up or distort my red/green dot in any way. My only sugjestion is that you use a solid quick detach mount for removing when not needed or spend the money on a good swing away mount. I think the cheapest good swing away out there would be the one Vortex makes.. I have purchased both of the cheaper models that they sell here on Amazon and let me just say, save your money, they don't work. Both of them have lots of play in the upright locked position.

Has ups and downs
Purchased so I can add to an Eotec HWS, and run on my slug gun for deer this year. (Its what i got, and should work just fine). The magnifier is huge, but will work. Putting this on a swivel quick mount might not work depending on your setup and available rail space. .The mount that comes with it is not the one shown, and mine arrived with a stripped screw and smashed nut... so it was only good enough to mock up until I found a better mount (which had to be borrowed from another red dot I had laying around). An email to Mako a day after ordering still has no response.Im expecting decent performance, but it is no frills. If anything breaks, I will update.

Good magnifier
This is a good magnifier at a good price. I have yet to shoot with it but when I look far away it looks clear and close up so what else is there? Ha

unfocused
I was trying to save some money and failed. I thought I was getting a great deal but couldn't see good quality through this magnifier

Uses too much real-estate on my rifle
The magnifier works OK and the quality looks good, but it has terrible eye relief. Apparently eye relief is generally very short on magnifiers, but on this unit it's terrible. I suppose it's made worse with the 5x power. Fortunately, the recoil of a .223 (5.56mm) is light enough that the magnifier doesn't strike you in the eye, but I think it would be miserable on larger calibers.Though eye relief is a universal problem on these, a problem that sets this unit apart from others is the enlarged front end. The front section extends way out in front of the mount and uses up so much space that I found found it impossible to mount a iron (BUIS) sight behind it without mounting the red dot optical way out on top of the handguard rail. That just was not the optimal arrangement on my rifle. Your mileage may vary, but it is at least something to consider when selecting a magnifier.

Good magnification, very clear but takes time to adjust red dot with magnifier. If its not align perfectly and I mean perfectly you will see three or four dots.
