Worked good going through 3/4 inch plywood into studs without a pilot hole. Maybe 2% sheered off but that was on older really hardened PT wood. Better than the more expensive ones I bought at the Depot.

Good stainless steel screws.They work well, can be quickly removed, if needed.

Ordered two boxes of screws. One box broke open in shipment and hanging out of package when it arrivedand left on porch. Product itself is very good.

I'm in the US Virgin Islands.Home Depot claims to carry them here, but they're usually out of stock. In the States, Home Depot's price is slightly cheaper, but it's only a couple of dollars less. In the USVI, Home Depot's price is $10 more than Amazon, but it works out to close to the same price when I pay the additional shipping charges (even though I have Prime).Amazon shipped them quickly, and the only Home Depot on my island is still out of stock.There are great general purpose screws for outdoor use here in the salt air. They're the perfect size for decking and building garden boxes.

We have found that when you have to put frames/garage shelving in for a garage remodel, you are going to really use 3 lengths of screws in quantity: 3":, 2.5", & 1. 5/8" length). WFH (Work Form Home) has gotten us a lot of remodel business for turning at least a 1 stall of a multi car garage into office/mancave (or a womencave) for work. And stainless steel to boot. Torx (Star) drive makes it even better.

I used these stainless steel screws to build several redwood raised garden beds for growing my own food. I've had the beds in a while now and the redwood is starting to rot, but the screws are still like new. As the beds rot completely, I will salvage the stainless steel screws and reuse them to build new beds. Since I'll be reusing the same screws over and over again in future years, I'll be saving money each time I rebuild my beds... so the long term cost of these screws will be very low. These screws are really an investment into the future (they will really payoff in the future through their reuse). The star bits make them real easy to screw into the wood. The screws came with a star drill bit too.

Excellent for fence repair, repairs to the wooden deck, house trim. The torx drive doesn't cam out, but use an impact driver or drill pilot holes to avoid the possibility of sheer.

I was doing a major repair on our beach house porch that keeps sinking in the sand. To be able to dig for sonotubes I had to remove about 50 white cedar floor boards. These screws were perfect for the job. Easy to screw them in and none broke.

Replaced steel deck screws that rusted off after 15 years, won't have to do that ever again. No slippage with Torx drive. Should have used these the first time, the extra expense would've saved building the deck twice, plus they can be reused if the deck ever rots.

Still needed to drill a pilot hole through the deck piece, but the screw was tough enough to screw in flush. After installing a couple of hundred screws there were no broken heads nor bent shanks. Torx heads held up perfectly, no slippage at all. Very pleased with the performance.
