Q: How far must this be inserted? In other words, what's the distance from the end to the minimum insertion line?

Actually, only until the offset grabs the inside of the yoke. However, for safety I don't think I would go less than three inches.

Q: Does it come with the tightening bolt and nut?

The upper bracket has an integrated tightening screw threaded into the stem. The stem itself has a typical bolt that tightens the lower angled shim until the stem is firmly tightened into the fork.

Q: How much additional height will these give handlebars?

It depends on the length ordered. I have many of them and it raises the handlebars nice and high. Remember, Your cables will probably need to be longer as you raise the bars.

Q: Can i use this stem on a road bike, bull horn bar's???

Only if the clamp area is 25.4mm. Amazon has UPANBIKE brand bull bars with 25.4 od. @12.99 that will fit this stem. Be mindful of the stem length so as not to have your reach too close or too far away making for an uncomfortable fit. I have UPANBIKE MTB bars(great fit and finish)and had to switch from this size quill stem to one that has a 110mm length as the shorter one made me sit straight up like a Shriner on a tiny little parade bike. It all depend on your bike's geometry. Good luck with your purchase!
