I bought the 5" bolster with the millet and it arrived 1/2 empty. Not that it had lost filling on the way. It was just like that. Big disappointment. No clue if they had ran out of filler or if it is supposed to lay almost completely flat. I needed it to sleep on and it gave me no support at all. I also noticed that sleeping on it, in the course of the night it would start to smell a bit, almost like a cheap dawn/ feather pillows does. The insert and the cover are very nice and fortunately the insert has an opening that allows it to be emptied. I ended up throwing away the millet and filling it with polyester. Sleeping on polyester was definitely not my original idea, but at least now it is usable.

If I could I would give this company a -(yes minus) 5 star rating. I bought this product based upon their pictures. They sent me a product that was barely 50% filled and could not even support my head above the sheet.Their competitor Sachi, which cost more, says if the pillow is too firm remove some of the filling buckwheat/millet. I am demanding a complete refund and will be purchasing a pillow from Sachi which has more than 300 reviews.I hope Amazon removes this company from their vendor list.

This pillow is exactly what I was looking for. I’m replacing an old similar buckwheat neck pillow. Didn’t know about millet fill. It’s softer and a little quieter. This also came with a pillow case...didn’t have to buy it separately. Very pleased.

Pillow is not full enough to be completely comfortable. Its just over half filled wth buckwheat seeds. Quality of fabric is very good.

This is my main pillow for sleeping. Tried the buckwheat; too firm. Millet is perfect. Conforms gently.

This pillow is supposed to provide neck support, like a cervical roll under your neck. Instead, it arrives "limp", with probably half of the millet missing from it. What a waste of time. Sending it back promptly and buying the Sachi version, as it is a much better pillow. Serves me well for trying to save a few bucks.

After I slept on the pillow for 3 nights it became flat and not supporting me well. I contacted the company and was told they fill them 2/3 full. If I needed more millet hulls they sell it at $17 a pound. The pillow cost $33 and now they want another $17. I think they should give extra stuffing so it can be adjusted.

I had looked for a roll pillow to replace a smaller one, and this one is perfect. It raises my head and keeps it in place all night. Others were way too small or were full of stuffing instead of natural material. This one smells nice, and the pillow case is easily removed for washing.

I have had the Japanese pillow and the memory foam kind and the wave and many other types, none worked for my neck and shoulder, till I got this one. Since then I have bought them for my son and daughter and recently this one for my husband after months of hearing him complain about his stiff neck and shoulder, he finally tried mine and 2 days later he was pain free. Bought him one and he loves it still pain free a week later. Takes getting used to.

I replaced my neck pillow which I had for many years. The Millet Pillow was so much better than I had and expected. Comfort, feel, size and appearance is absolutely perfect.

Like it better than buckwheat. Softer, more mouldable.
