Washing Instructions, how delicate is the blanket?
I am amending my earlier review because the owners of this company responded in a helpful and gracious way. Although the original thank you card that went out with this blanket say that it should be hand washed only, they were erring on the side of caution and have had customers machine wash the blanket without any problems. That said, I will be keeping this blanket temporarily to see if it does indeed machine wash well. If not, I will return it, as a picnic blanket that is difficult to wash wouldn't be useful to me.Old Review: This blanket is HAND WASH ONLY! Unbelievable, for an outdoor blanket!!! Otherwise it's beautiful, but something that must be spot cleaned and hand washed is not an option for us for a picnic/grass/beach/sand blanket. So this is going back. I really wish they had made it more clear that this was such a fragile item. It can't be dry cleaned either!

Regret
This blanket looks good but it's not that thick. It's slightly thicker than the average blanket, but I was expecting it to be much more padded considering how expensive it was. The cotton inside (or whatever the stuffing is) doesn't do much when you're sitting on it. On the plus side it comes with a sturdy box and can easily fit two people on it. It also bothered me that the black label on mine was placed very poorly in an off-centered/crooked position. It looks good in pictures, but the padding and quality control is poor.

Cute and functional
Bought this last minute as a picnic blanket for photos of my husband and I. Worked out well, very soft and comfortable, even after a wash. Feels a little padded, very thick, and the bottom layer seems like a good water resistant layer for if the ground is damp. Might use again for other photos, and will be good to use in the back yard with our baby when they start sitting up on their own. Very happy with my purchase.

Overall better than expected
I was not expecting much from this. We bought it for a photoshoot of the kids in the park. we have used it 3-4 times since and washed it once. some of the filler does come out after wash. of which some comes out and some stick to the blanket. It's a black filler, looks like small balls. Aside from that, it's very nice and comfortable.

Our Wild in Bloom blanket comes with us everywhere! We love that it’s super easy to roll up and carry about on our adventures. The waterproof under layer is amazing for dewy grass and also the beach and we can’t wait to use it all spring and summer long. The quality is top notch, and came in the most stunning packaging. The Ultimate Summer Item
After using this blanket, you won't want to use anything else for your picnic or park or beach excursions ever again! This blanket is so phenomenal, that whenever I bring it everyone asks where I have gotten it. My favorite feature of this blanket is the double-sided feature, where one side is waterproof and the other is soft. So any grass, water, spills, etc. that get on it on the waterproof side is literally no worries! My second-favorite feature is the draw string bag and the buckles, to make it SUPER cute AND portable! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

WOW….Just WOW…!
WOW….Just WOW…! Our Wild in Bloom Blanket is without a doubt the best outdoors and picnic blanket bar none, we love the outdoors so it comes with us everywhere and gets used all the time. The fabric is really soft and comfortable but the waterproof underside is the winner so you don’t get a wet toosh if we’re sitting on some damp ground in a park or at the beach. It’s super simple to keep clean, we just throw it in the washing machine on gentle cycle (they recommend hand washing but the machine seems fine) and it comes up brand new…The box is just excellent so it’s very suitable for a gift or present. They really have delivered an outstanding product and I can't wait to see if they release more outdoor products as I’m definitely a raving fan of Wild in Bloom. Great product 10/10…
