My Favourite Threesome
I loved the first book the dynamics between the lovers is complicated but the emotional connection is strong and cannot be denied.Embry for me took centre stage, I felt so much for him in this book. I loved him then I hated him then I loved him again I really think I was just as conflicted as he was. His love for Greer and Ash is never in doubt but how does he really feel about being the 3rd person in the relationship and having to be hidden must chip away at his soul.As you would expect there is so much happening under the surface, the backdrop is politics after all. Public image and perception is the key to power where everyone is a potential rival.I for one never saw the ending coming it was a bolt out the blue and a bolt to not just my heart but to Greer Ash and Embry. Where my favourite threesome go after this Iâm really not sure but I canât wait to find out.reviewed by Sweet Spot Sisterhood

Excellent read
I really liked Embry in the first book. He was the epitome of a broken man who due to circumstances couldnt be with those he loves. In this book however I loved him, hated him, dispared with him, loved him again, really bloody dispised him but then when the truth came out really loved him, understood him and was firmly in his corner again. Ash will always be Ash to me. He is so strong in certain ways but so sheltered. Greer is one of the only female book characters I have loved from the beginning, she is strong and tries to make the best decision for everyone. This book made me realise exactly why I love this author. The writing was superb. The characters are ones that i think have so much to give, not just in this book but future ones too. I did enjoy the flash back chapters, it helped give Ash and Embry depth and made you realise why they are how they are.The secret that is uncovered is one that i didnt see coming until i read it. It certainly made events add up. (can i say just how much i loathe Abilene, evil doesnt even sum up just what she is. On that note I'm not too fond of Merlin either) All in all this book made the first one a worthwhile read and i would definitely recommend this one.Very much looking forward to American King. This has made me more hungry for that next installment.

Feel short to book one
Did I like this one as much as American Queen? NoThere was a lot going on in this one. A constant back and forth between the past and present with Emory and Ash, plus the present-day dilemma with Greeta. To then throw in the mix with another two problems which we're probably not needed and definitely gave my brain too much to think about.Greeta grew on me as a character and definitely became a lot stronger as a person. She's grown since book one, and you can tell. Her, Emory, and Ash all play different roles in their relationship. Greeta is the submissive, Ash is the dominant, and Emory plays the middle man, but they are all so extra. Ash came across as too dominant and strong to a point where I was turned off from his character. Emory started to act like a teenage boy with the "world owes me something" attitude, and I thought this could have been set up better for his character.

omg sierra you are amazing
This series is so amazing words can not describe it. The chemistry between the characters. I have laughed, cried, screamed at the injustice of why these things happen in the world. I canât wait for book 3 but I know my hea is going break reading it. I pray for a happy ending. One character (not going to say who really needs to go. I hate her and what she is doing. Please read this series but be ready for everyone one of your emotions to be touched. X

Reflection on my old review
Hi guys, I originally posted my review for this book and gave it 3 stars. On reflection of this review I've upgraded it to 4 stars. It's probably the only book that has left me really thinking about it once I was finished. I'm still thinking about it. So much happened in this story that yes I found it slow to get me into it. It was a rollercoaster of thoughts. This is not a simple quick read erotic romance.Sierra certainly has created a story that will sit with you and make you think. These characters are so deep. It's full of love and lies. I really was mad at embry then so sad for him for his need to protect even sacrificing his own needs. The twist in the end I certainly didn't see coming.American king is next and I'm looking forward to the rollercoaster that im sure we will all experience in the final book.

H.O.T.
This book is scorching hot! The angst, the secrets, the love, the hurt, all of it is the perfect combination. The beauty of ebooks is no one knows what you are reading. Right? But because of the light, others can clearly see without too much effort. So... when I get to a particularly steamy scene, I decide to switch to audio. The reason? The guy next to me on my flight was reading the page! So, switching to Audible was what I did. The only problem with that? Hearing the scene being read aloud by the character was too much! I unfortunately had to switch off!! I am sure my cheeks were flushed while listening.I absolutely loved how the story developed. The intrigue and suspense was equally enjoyable. Sierra Simone is, for me anyway, an outstanding author. Her characters as well as her storylines are always well developed. This series has had me on the edge of my seat, burning (in more ways than one!) to find out how things are going to unfold. I enjoyed how we also got to see Ash and Embry during the early years, trying to navigate their relationship.

A great sequel! Loved it entirely
This one is even better than the first. I loved everything about Embry and Ash's past, their story is so emotional, painful, and memorable. Saved many quotes. However, I didn't like the Abilene plot that much, to be honest. I think it was a bit over the place.Anyway this book is awesome, and I had a great time reading it.

A must-read finely crafted spicier twist of a popular legend!
Dramatically eloquent & endearing, with an erotic sharp edge! These books have been on my TBR for awhile. I knew of Sierra Simoneâs capability to create a very risquĂŠ storyline after reading Priest. Yet nothing could have prepared me for this impressive trilogy! Itâs scandalous. Itâs witty. Itâs angsty. Itâs super-sexy-hot! I binged these books over the course of the last few days and Iâm a wreck and in complete awe.Not only is the prose so beautiful and descriptive, thereâs a heaping measure of pure wit and intelligence that delves deep into the complexities of human behavior and love. The woven metaphors of mythological references tied with legend - particularly that of King Arthur and his Knights - make a formidable backbone to this story. The imagery spectacularly detailed, my mind swirled with so many conjured-up scenes.âIâve become one of those damsels in the legends that I teach about at Georgetown, one of those women in the stories who represents sex or virtue or deceit or any number of things to the gallant knight sheâs entreating for help. To complain that these women are passive is to miss the point; they arenât women at all. Theyâre symbols, defined by the meaning the knights make of them, recognizable only as the role they play in the knightâs adventure.âThe varied points of views created so many layers, opening revelations and shrouding mystery at the same time. I am a conflicted pile of feelings I canât even begin to articulate. I felt hate and love and betrayal and trust and loyalty and lies all at the same time! And not just over the course of one, or even two chapters; it spanned over the course of the entire series. I highlighted so much; Iâve had a hard time deciding which to include in this review.I only caution to approach these books with an open mind, embrace the love, and get lost in the suspension of disbelief. This is a finely crafted spicier twist to a popular legend; Sierra Simoneâs very unique take to a happily ever after. I think this passage succinctly summarizes the plot:âonce upon a time, there were two warriors who loved the same woman as much as they loved each other. And everything that happened afterwards led inevitably to tragedy.âBook 1: AMERICAN QUEEN - Weâre introduced to Greer. The story is mostly told from her POV. It takes you through the beginnings: how she met Ash and how she connected with Embry. This book hooked me into this series!âThe first step to understanding anythingâwhether itâs the Bible or Fifty Shades of Greyâis acknowledging that we come to it with agendas of our own. We want it to mean something, we are biased whether we know it or not, and usually what we walk away with is what we want to walk away with.ââDo you like this? his face seemed to ask. Do you want more? Would you crawl for me? Bleed for me?He didnât say the question out loud, but I said the answer out loud. âYes, please.âHis hand tightened in my hair, his pupils widened, and for one perfect moment, I thought he was going to kiss me.âBook 2: AMERICAN PRINCE - This is Embryâs story. The little prince. Told mostly from Embryâs and Ashâs POV. For me this started filling in a lot of the blanks and added more depth to the story.âAsh is calculated with his cruelty, but Embry is not. Embry is a slave to his own cruel urges, lost to himself in a way Ash could never be. And so Iâm actually scared. Which is what I want. What I need. It seems counterintuitiveâmasochistic even, when Iâve only ever dabbled in masochism, preferring instead the more power-oriented dynamic of submission.âBook 3: AMERICAN KING -Ashâs story. The revealing and shocking conclusion. So many secrets and action explained. Twists I was not expecting. A delicious emotional turmoil I savored and relished with every page.âI was holding a door open to a room I didnât know I had, keeping a hidden garden free of weeds, sheltering a hollow meant for someone or something I couldnât yet see.And then came Embry Moore. And then came Greer Galloway. How does a man end up loving two people, you ask? This is how.âGather some extra undies and keep your partner close. *Wink-wink*This series is one wild-hot ride!⨠5-STAR ⨠BING-WORTHY SERIES !!

Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic!
I'm reeling from this novel! There are no words to describe what I'm feeling after just finishing the last sentence. Sierra Simone - you're a brilliant writer! If you haven't read American Queen, I strongly suggest you do that ASAP! Then you'll be grasping for a copy of American Prince promptly upon finishing it. I promise you, this version of a modern fairytale is something you don't want to miss! Greer, Embry, Ash....the dynamic is so hot, its combustible! 5 stars, hands down! đ

Sierra Simone still owns my heart and feelings days after I finished!
My heart is still broken and my feelings still linger in the story with Ash, Greer and Ambry! Why you ask? Well, this was my rambling at one am after I just finished the book:My panties are drenched, my heart is broken and I feel all the feels and dried the tears.I absolutely didn't see that coming and the way American Prince went I have absolutely no idea what American King will bring. I'm holding on to the hope for a HEA for the triade but I'm not delusional to keep a blind eye that it will be heartbreaking and hurting and devastating til that can be reached.Sierra Simone totally blows me away with this series! There's so much history between the characters, so many emotions, so much hurt, so much betrayal, so much lust and heat and chemistry. And all those secrets and the intrigues from family and friends and consultants and false friends.Sierra Simone's writing has me deeply invested in the story and characters that my feelings are messed and I'm so desperate for American King.I can't really form words to put into a review that would do this series justice!Just know that I'm over the moon in love with it and am craving and lusting for more!

Top Read of 2017 - 6 Stars âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
I finished American Prince two days ago and it has taken me this long to gather my thoughts. I loved book one in this series - American Queen, but it did not prepare me for what I would feel during this book. So many different emotions ran through me while reading American Prince but at the end of it all, Heartbroken is the best single word I can think of. This book deserves six stars âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸This book gives us Embry's backstory, and what a powerful, raw, honest story that is. I simply adored hearing about how he met both Ash and Greer and what he felt about them. His internal dialogue is some of the best I have ever read. Sierra's ability to draw a picture with her words is unparalleled. In twenty-two years, no one, no one, had ever made me feel like this. Not just claimed, but like that claim was literally staked into my flesh, anchored to my bone.I loved reading about all the stolen moments he and Ash shared. The gentle and sweet moments amongst their raw and rough ones. The longevity of their love story is beautiful."Say this isnât the end, Embry. Say youâll keep teaching me to dance. Say youâll be my little prince. Please.âHe was only half-monster now, and there in his face I could see my Achilles again, the man who danced with me, and was it wrong of me that I craved both? The man who danced and the man who bruised me?And then he stilled, just for a moment, one hand coming up to press against the side of my cheek. âYouâre beautiful in the moonlight,â he said quietly.I really enjoyed having the multiple POVs in the chapters and I feel that the reader truly gets to know the dynamics between all the characters in this book. I for one did not realise the depth of Greer and Embry's feelings in book one but felt them shine through in American Prince. Similarly I didn't understand the depth of Ash's feelings for Embry until this book. I loved that their jealousies were bared and honestly explored. And if I ever thought Ash held all the power in their relationship, I see it clearly now: Embry holds my husbandâs heart in his hands and he doesnât even know it. Heâs too busy looking at the details of Ashâs face to see Ashâs expression, too busy being in love to see how loved he is. It breaks my heart. âKiss me,â Ash says quietly. âPlease.âThere are some scenes in this book that people might struggle with and I expect to read some negative, witch hunt type rants online, but I want to say that for me, even though some scenes were uncomfortable, they were necessary, they were all consensual and they were honest. These three characters truly love each other and they willingly choose this dynamic. It is not our place to judge what they mean to each other. Ultimately this is a love story. Traditional - no. It is a love story that is at times raw, broken and twisted. But still definitely a love story and for me, the difficult, heartbreaking stories are the best ones.âHaving you both in my bed is such a gift,â Ash says, as if sensing my thoughts. âI never could have imaginedâŚâThis is marriage, I think dizzily. Joy and pain, exposed and exchanged. Joy and pain, shared. As with book one, this book ends on a major cliffhanger and leaves the reader desperate for book three. There are secrets revealed and betrayals carried out that rock the foundation of our three main characters and I cannot wait to see the outcome and have all my fingers crossed that everyone gets the ending they deserve.
