REALLY SUCKS -- in a good way
The prefect replacement filter for my 6 gallon, 2 HP Shop Vac. When I realized my old filter was irretrievable, I choose the YUEFENG Filter and have not been disappointed. Installation was effortless and the results were magnificent. The increase in suck-em up power was quite evident, and that makes clean-ups go more efficiently. The best part is the quality of the reinforcing screen and filtering material. It not only captures the smallest particulates, but cleans up well by shaking against the side of a waste can. Compare new YUEFENG Filter with one that has been in use for months.

Filter at a great price
So the filter is filer, right? NO that is not correct. I have purchased lower-cost filters that will come apart after a while of using them. Well, I purchased these and I have to say I was not expecting them to last as long as they did and performed as well as they did. I had to grind down my entire garage flooring to put down epoxy. The process was long and created lots of dust. This filter did great and still had more life left once I was done. I am just ordering a replacement just in case.

Filter OK - forget the foam
If you're buying just because it includes the foam forget it.It's way too tight to even install. I spent quite a bit of time stretching and carefully trying t get it over the end. It finally ripped and was useless.Filter material is just OK. Thinner than I would have liked but it fit the machine and should work fine.

Late review but it gave plenty of time for me to test these and they have been used a lot. They work great when its time for another filter replacement i know where I am going to get them.

filter sleeve lacking
no problem with the filters. they fit properly and went into the shop vac with no problems. the filter sleeves are another story. they simply are too small to fit over the filter. the first one i tried to put on ripped down the side due to the pressure required to get them to slide over the filter. i finally did get one on the filter but not without a lot of effort and stretching. it also tore slightly due to the effort. dont know if they sent the wrong size or they just simply dont fit properly.
