In love with everything about it except the blizzard of flakes
Love the smell, curl, definition and ingredients. It flakes so much it is completely unusable. I’m giving it 3 stars because I really, really want to use and love this stuff but flakes don’t work for me. I’ve tried it with wet hair, dry hair, conditioner, no conditioner, hair serum, with/without curl cream, and all the possible combinations but to no avail. It flakes. Not a little, but a lot ... like a blizzard of flakes.

Light hold, defined curls
Photo in red shawl is hair with a leave-in conditioner only, black shirt is leave-in + flaxseed gel. It’s so light, but still provides some hold. And it makes my hair very shiny and opens the curls up a bit. This is one of my favorite curl booster gels so far
