As someone who has tried numerous non-dairy or vegan versions of traditionally dairy-based foods, I can say that this product is not for me, but might be right for you. The other reviews here seem to be extremely positive or negative, so here is a balanced opinion.I personally didn't care for the taste at all. It was too "cheesy" (odd since there is no actual cheese in this product), which makes me think that so much flavoring has been added to hide the natural flavor and make it taste like ranch dressing.But taste is an opinion. You might like the flavor yourself. I noticed that on different items, the taste differed slightly. For example, I took a first taste directly from the bottle on a spoon - not good. I next tried a carrot - not good, but not as bad. Then I tried lettuce - less and less unpleasant. To each their own, maybe you'll like it on salad or a baked potato, I did not.Anything good about it? Yes, the texture and consistency was excellent. Often, vegan products simulating dairy has textures that are unpleasant. Not the case here. It essentially flows, looks, feels, and smells like traditional ranch dressing.I do like some other daiya products, so I am not biased for or against them. I didn't like this ranch dressing, but other people might, hence 2 stars.

Finally a fake cheese product that can fool non-vegans! This tastes just like some of the blue cheese dressings out there. There is no way to tell the difference and I've tried so many dairy alternative foods and usually there is something funky in the texture, smell or taste. This just tastes like plain good ole' fashioned blue cheese dressing. It's very smooth and pretty thick. Mine doesn't pour out so I have to use a knife to scoop it out like people might do with a bottle of ketchup. The extra work is worth it though. I don't love some of the daiya cheese alternatives but this one is completely delicious- I love it!I no longer have to miss the flavor just because of a nasty dairy allergy.

I realized I dont like ANYTHING from this brand at all. Tossed it. Gross, artificial, plasticy aftertaste, nothing close to ceaser. Daiya needs to find a new profession.

It tastes alright. It’s pretty bland and somehow manages to have a mayonnaise aftertaste despite being labeled as egg-free, but it didn’t make me sick.The big issue is the packaging. It’s bad enough that I have to pay over $1/oz for this; the fact that it’s in a glass bottle which means that half of it will go to waste is insulting.

I have no complaints about the taste of consistency of this product hence the 3 star. Daiya usually always makes good tasting items. HOWEVER the glass bottle is very deceiving when it comes to how much product you're getting. The bottle itself weighs more than whats really inside and the ranch is very thick/creamy. It says "8 servings" but it really felt like 2. $10 is way overpriced, this should've been $4.50. If you wanted ranch for a better price and more use I would totally recommend "Just" Ranch. That's my go to for way cheaper and MORE product, taste amazing too. A little disappotined with Daiya. Gave this a chance because my usual Just Ranch wasn't available.

I was so excited to try a dairy free Caesar dressing. I was willing to spend the $20 for 2 of them…. The whole experience was bad. When it arrived, it looked as if the tops had unscrewed or exploded (the glass or caps were NOT broken) they were packaged nicely from the shipper, but due to either pressure, poor quality material or weather, I opened the package to sticky dressing everywhere. Not a problem, I can clean it up and it’ll be good as new. A few days later, I go to open the dressing to use for a salad, and when I unscrew the cap it explodes again and now there’s dressing all over my shirt and counter. More of this product got on my shirt than I was able to eat. I am so disappointed. What a waste of money. I was able to get 4 uses of 1 of the bottles. I am all for using glass for food product packaging- but not for this. This product specifically needs to be packaged in plastic. Half of the dressing gets stuck on the sides and you can’t get it. And on top of all of this, the flavor is OK. Definitely not worth almost $10 a bottle. With the experience I’ve had, I will not be purchasing again.

I cannot consume dairy and with that being said - TRUST ME - skip this ranch. Do NOT buy, it does NOT taste good. This ranch is on my list of DO NOT BUY AGAIN. The taste left me traumatized.Iam not sure how this item has almost 5 stars. It's not good and it is pricey. Don't believe me? Buy it and then tell me how that went.... try other brands (Follow your heart, Kensington) instead!

It pains me to write a negative review for a Daiya product, because IMO their cheezes are superior. But this is a horrible swing-and-a-miss. If you think you'll enjoy the flavor of a sweet bleu cheese dressing, then you should definitely buy this, because that's exactly what it tastes like. Just gross.
