This music box is well crafted, beautiful detail. I bought it because I always sang “You Are My Sunshine” to my daughter from the day she was born, and even through her teen years. We both cried when she opened her gift and heard the music on her 50th birthday!

Bought for one of my daughters and she loved it. She lives halfway across the country so I've never even seen the box but as long as she is pleased then i'm pleased too.

Nice box but as everyone says in the reviews, not the correct sound box. I would have preferred “You are my sunshine “ to the melody that came with the box. It’s a familiar melody but can’t seem to place it.

I bought this for my daughter because I loved the sentiment on the top (though it can be replaced with a personal photograph), as well as the fact that it plays 'You Are My Sunshine', which is a song I sang to her throughout her childhood.Nice wood finish, small inside, but it isn't meant to hold a lot. Nice purchase for my daughter's birthday! I popped a gift card inside of it to complete the gift.

I gave this to my Daughter on her wedding morning, with some little special "US"items, this was perfect and just writing this has me tear up! The song has such meaning and impact on a Mom and a child, I wouldn't believe this a mom who hasn't sang one time or another,you are my Sunshine! The box is well made and a picture doesn't do it justice! I thank the company who produced this, with this age bracket (20's) a gift is hard to come buy and to find something with such meaning!
