Alterna Caviar Repair Rx Re-texturizing Protein Cream, 5.1 Ounce

I’m writing this well after using the whole bottle and having just purchased the rebranded Alterna CAVIAR Anti-Aging® Restructuring Bond Repair Leave-In Protein Cream at a proper brick and mortar store.1) This item is clearly counterfeit. The product is sticky and thicker. Not near as pleasant to work with as the real deal and smells different.2) This product actually works. My thyroid went nuts and my hip length hair went to crap. Snapping, falling out, and looking fried. After sorting out my meds, this was the only product that could smooth out my poor mane while it recovered.3) I recommend the real product over this, but this is 1/2 price; however, being counterfeit you don’t really know what you are putting on your head or if it’s safe for you since you cannot trust the ingredient label.

I use this stuff to help moisturize my hair because I use a lot of heat styling. I straighten my hair most days, which can be really damaging. Luckily my hair is fairly thick and also coarse so it can handle the heat, but I still want to make sure I’m protecting it as best I can. I’m on my third bottle of this in the past 3 years. It took almost the full 3 years to get through 2 bottles. Even with my relatively long (collar bone length) and thick hair, I don’t have to use much. I typically use it in my wet hair after I wash it but before I blow dry. If I don’t blow dry or don’t plan on straightening/heat styling my hair then I won’t use it (but that’s almost never). I feel like I’ve definitely seen an improvement in my hair since I started using it compared to straightening hair with no product, but with that said I didn’t really notice a ton of damage in my hair before so maybe I’m just crazy. Either way I will continue to purchase and use this product.

Okay, so I'd been eyeing this in my local Sephora for a while but felt bad spending the $, so when I found it on Amazon for cheaper I went for it. TOTALLY worth it!!! I've used it alone on blow dried hair&also as a leave- in mask in combination with ' living Proof Restore Hair mask' &I've gotten phenomenal results.I find it works best if you add some to the ends of your hair with a good mask on top & then after washing just add some more before blowing out your hair. It will leave you with beautifully silky and well hydrated strands.For reference, I have thick brown hair that has been color treated, shaved on the sides, (involuntarily) dreadlocked, & bleached every color in my teens. Love this stuff!!

I love this cream! I had the trial size and it lasted me for a couple week's worth of washes and it was a no-brainer to purchase the full sized one. I have SEVERELY damaged, dry, brittle hair from over a decade of hair coloring. This, along with the shampoo and conditioner, fixed it right up! It's smooth and shiny and so so so soft! I can't stop touching it.

WOW!!! I love this product! Besides repairing my hair, it has new hair growing everywhere. I had no idea I would be given more hair after using this! My hairstylist asked me what I was doing to get all this new hair growth. The only things I have been doing is using this product and using coconut oil on my hair. I will review this again after several months.

I love all Caviar products. I highlight my hair. I surf and workout and run in the sun. I have been looking for a product that can save my fine, blonde hair and all the Caviar products are awesome. I have bought all name brand products and this is the only line I will use now. Ive tried coconut oil, which is the latest, and I have not gotten results like I have with this line.

I was looking for a leave in conditioner spray, but stumbled upon this. I decided to try after a mishap dried my ends out. It is the best! Makes my hair smooth and weightless. Easy to brush through every time. No need for leave-in spray.

i went from blue black hair, to light grey. Needless to say my hair was FRIED! I have thick, coarse curly hair, my curls were gone, my hair looked like hay! i tried everything, this stuff gave my hair LIFE!! my curls began to come back! it leaves your hair soft and bouncy, never oily or crunchy. this will be my 4th bottle, and trust me i have never written a review for anything, i just had to share how good this product is!

Fabulous stuff - makes my damaged hair feel silky smooth used along with the alterna caviar shampoo and conditioners. You only need a tiny amount though as it can make your hair heavy and sticky if you use too much.

Absolutely fantastic product, you only need a pea sized amount of product for shoulder length hair. My hairdresser actually commented on the condition of my hair. I also bought three tubes for my daughters and now they have finished them they are looking for more....bank of mum and dad! Lol

Alterna Caviar moisture shampoo and moisture conditioner is the best stuff I have ever used. This cream you apply to damp hair and it perfect for maintaining hair extensions

Lovely product recommended by my hairdresser and definitely worth the price ! My hair is Naturally thin and very easily damaged this made a noticeable difference after just one application !

Smells wonderful but not worth the price tag as a hairdresser myself I wouldn't recommend buy as results are minimal
