This series was originally selected to be included as approved summer reading for a youth audience. When my grandson told me about what he was reading this book, I decided to check it out. Boy was I shocked to find out that it was a great book for all ages, including us "old folks"! I thoroughly enjoyed this first book, and had fun talking to my grandson about the plot, characters, conflict, suspense and emotion of the characters. I loved the POV of how the book is written and am doing more in depth analysis of this book to help me in my own writing style to make me a better writer. I am working on a novel, and this book has given me an idea for a prequel to the book I am writing. I am looking forward to reading the whole series to find out how the author has resolved all the issues raised for the continuation of the interesting characters he has created.Respectfully, Dr. P

This is a wonderful, fast paced adventure series. A combination of spies, rock and roll, and historic locations. Junior high boys who are reluctant readers may be particularly enjoy this series. Girls will also like the intelligent girl hero oh does Kung fu and her homework. Even the book design is cool. You will want to read all four in the series and then pre-order the next one. The espionage angle with its high tech surveillance seems to kind of reflect today's headlines.

I purchased the Kindle edition of IQ to use in a tutoring session with a student. (Required reading for the summer.) To my surprise, the book unfolded in layers, surprising me at every turn. Perhaps it was because I did not know what it was about, but I found that we constantly made predictions throughout, as to what would be happening next. IQ has a lot of the elements of a popular read for kids today: fast action, timely world events, main characters that are likable and sympathetic. In addition, the pleasure of ordering it on the Kindle is just wonderful. I have owned the Kindle for a few months now, and love ordering books that arrive before I turn off the computer.

Loved the book, however, it arrived with a few dents in the cover.Still rated it five stars because the book was great but would have been nice to receive the book in better condition.

I was required to buy a Roland Smith book for a class I am in this semester, and it arrived on time and in great condition. There are not marks in the book, and it looks like it was brand new.

I like this book because it has a lot of action, and it actually taught me a couple things about the Executive Branch.

this is the best book ever along with peak another great book by roland smith. i recomend this book to everyone,even the people who dont like reading all that much. this book will pull you in and you will not want to put it down.
