Better than Spray, Way better than poly or urethane in a can. You won't be disappointed!!
Great for refinishing ANYTHING! fast Dry, Easy Clean-Up. I use it constantly when refinishing guitars with Exotic Wood Species. I prefer this product over spray and other Waterborne or Oil based is because it's thick, not to thick, but thick enough where it gets into the pores of the wood within the first and second coats. It's a big advantage for me over spray which can take more than double the amount of coats. The consistency is a kind of like a cross between Milk & White School Glue. I use it as a Base prior to airbrushing, Goldleaf or decal applications. In a couple hours it is as hard as a rock. I can block sand it with 400Grit Wet and smooth out the brush marks. Apply my artwork and topcoat it or just block it out and compound and buff to a glass like finish. It's great for me when I don't want to spray or mix clear or, WAIT for Laquer to dry. In my situations I need a thick base and top coat. I can achieve it with 4-Coats in two days maybe three versus lacquer which can take 8-Days to build up to the thickness I need. Even professional automotive clear with a catalyst hardner is more trouble to use. Plus No Harsh Fumes! This stuff Rocks!!(The photos are of a new headstock on a guitar, after wetsanding with 400 just prior to the second coat) (other pic is second coat. Within a couple hours of first application)
