TritonCarving Tool Jig TWSCTJ Carving Tool Jig (910740)

I purchased the Triton Stone Grader shortly after purchasing an old horizontal water sharpening wheel system that looked to have seen last of its useful life. It had been used to sharpen gouges and other assorted turning tools and it was hollowed out about 3/16". With about 30 or forty minutes of careful work (spread out over a day or so), I had it back in plane. I also dressed my old bench grinder in the process. I cleaned the Triton Stone Grader a few times in the process by immersing it in a bucket of water and sloshing it around a bit and brushing it with a stiff brush. The stone is still relatively true to the original condition.

Very happy with this jig, well priced and it's perfect for my carving chisels and gouges.

Another fine tool from triton looks well made holds knives tightly works well never known knives so sharp. For a company who seems to provide good quality tools it seems ridiculous that all their ads on Amazon give instructions and details for the angle setter then state get instructions from Tritons web site and go there and try downloading instructions and all you find is a blank page come on Triton get it together some people have not a clue how to use some of these good tools it can be hard to fix

i got Scheppach wet stone sharpening system as that was all my budget would allow as i try to buy Triton. But Scheppach accessories are so over priced i know wish i had waited to buy the Triton one but this item like 99%of triton is excellent
