Easy to install. Looks great on our boat and doesn't get hot.

I decided on this particular product from this particular company after having compared it to other similar products. I expected it in a few days Because Amazon prime works like that. I'm used to it. I expect it. Then I found out it's coming from Hong Kong! I thought well I'll see you this sometime in the in the future. I got it in six days. Amazing!I had to put it out in the sun for several hours to warm it up so it wouldn't crack when I unrolled it but the backing says 3M so that tells me they're using a 3M adhesive and perhaps this is the second generation of the product. It looks great. I know when I install it on my boat it'll make a big difference.

I had carpet in my 01 Four Winns Horizon 190 that was junk. I removed all of the snaps. I did have a non-skid surface that I sanded with some 80 grit. I didn't sand it completely smooth, but I took most of the "ridges" off of the non-skid material. Basically, the more smooth area, the better adhesion.I didn't want to trust this adhesive material only, so I used 3M's marine 5200 adhesive. This stuff isn't cheap but it's the best sealant on the market in my opinion. I used 3 regular caulking tubes and spread a thin layer entirely under the EVA mat.I would suggest having two people place the material down, because once it's down, there is no wiggle room or adjusting.I must say that I ordered 4 sheets of this stuff and I let it sit in my garage rolled up for several months until I got time to install it. There was one end of one of the sheets that appeared more "gray" than the other sheets. No big deal honestly, I knew I would have some waste so I just used the other end of the sheet.This stuff cut easily with a razor blade too. Just don't be a cheap person and think just because a razor blade is in your utility knife that it's razor sharp. Do like I did, and start with a new blade. Flip it around or change it as required. Those things are cheap any ways.I'll be sure to come back to this review and update it if this stuff starts to wear out. We keep our boat under a cover & out of the sun & it gets about 20-40 hrs a year of use. It is stored under the cover & in a pole barn during the winter. That being said, I'm expecting the edges to try to peel up a little, and if they do, I'll hit it with that 3M 5200. I'm anticipating on getting a minimum 5 yrs out of this stuff.

Love it so far, it came rolled up so I laid it out in the floor with some weights on for about a week to get some of the memory out of it. It has adhesive on the back but I also used some 3M spray glue as well and it was easy to install and stuck really well, it’s a lot easier on the feet now! Great value for the money!!

Good material

Just installed on front deck of my JC Tritoon restoration.Started out kinda difficult to get the material to lay flat, ended up stapling one end to plywood and then rolling out w backing still on and weight on it, then used hairdryer to warm it up.Used 3M spray contact cement on plywood for extra adhersion and everything went great till I put 2nd piece on (I ordered 3 rolls) and then discover slight difference in stripe color, one is pure white, the other is light grayish. Now what do I do? I can't pull the EVA up, its pulling part of the plywood up with it. I'm thinking using a magic marker or something to match the colors.I can't return, as just outside the Amazon 30 days. Plus, again hard to pull off the plywood.I would advise you to closely inspect colors if multiple sheets being used

It ends up looking decent. There are a few downfalls though. You'll need another adhesive to keep it down. I used contact cement and had to end up stapling a couple bubble spots down at the seams and covering them with color matching caulk.I ended up sending one roll back and the seller re charged my credit card for it after I have shipping information that proves they received the product back. Complete scam. Avoid this seller!

I found several rolls of this at a reduced price where they had been returned to Amazon, so price was good. Received the product and it was still rolled and all intact, so far so good. I installed this in my 21' bay boat after cleaning floor and it appeared to stick quite nicely. It lasted about 1 season, the sun fades and dries out the stuff, then hurricaine Ean blew it off the deck. It was all over the yard! I don;t reccomend this if it cannot be constatly protected from the elements.
