Perfect as I expected!
These shoes are everything that I wanted. Now, I'm not one to write reviews unless I had an horrific experience. However, I felt the need to review these shoes because they are just that amazing. I needed something for work because I do alot of walking & my casual shoes are NOT fit for working. My feet were swollen & sore every single day I got off of work. I googled "Comfortable shoes with support" & these popped up. The reviews were great, so I gave 'em a shot. I am so happy to say, these shoes have taken the pain & swelling away in my feet, working isn't a problem anymore, & they are INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE! I can literally feel my feet sinking into the cushion while walking. ASICS, you guys really outdid yourselves! If you need shoes for walking, running, exercising, working, comfort, support, etc... THESE ARE IT!

Excellent support and comfort! Thumbs up!
I have tried many brands of running shoes, but they just don't offer the same comfortable support and shock absorbency that Asics does! I run with my dog and Asics does a great job of minimizing the jarring impact on my knees. Asics running shoes are well-made and last for one year with daily use.Great choice for running or walking, and the gel cushioning adds to the comfort level.I've been buying Asics running shoes for years.Excellent quality, support, and comfort!Highly recommended.

Very comfortable shoe if you don't have flat feet!
The amount of comfort in this shoe is amazing. It competes easily with $130 overpronation shoes I own aside from no arch support. That's where it failed completely for me. Already tried replacing the insoles with arch support ones but the comfort level wasn't the same sadly. The provided insole is removable but is tacked down with adhesive. Didn't damage the shoes when removing it and with care I was able to put it back in.So in conclusion, yes these are amazing shoes if you need some overpronation support or if your gait is neutral. In this case I'd highly recommend but sadly it didn't work for me. The shoes look amazing and they feel amazing. The price with the construction of the shoes is an amazing value if you just need some extra support and cushion. I'd consider this shoe to be plush in the midsole and the insole was comfortable but not a lot to make it heavy. If it weren't for my arch I would of ordered another shoe to keep in storage when this one wears out. Great service as usual from Amazon for the free return.

Wow... pleasantly surprised
I started running a couple years ago to be more active. I started with an old pair of New Balance shoes and then bought another pair the next year and they were fine. My feet were always a bit sore after a run, but I figured that was normal after putting so much stress on your feet for 6-10 miles. However, after putting on these shoes, I was amazed at how comfortable they are. I think the best part about them is that they are extra wide and fit my feet better than any running shoe, basketball shoe, or any other shoe I have ever bought. I'm not sure if these are comfortable because of being extra wide or the insole, but I would definitely recommend these to anyone with wide feet. I had bought several wide shoes in the past, but I could tell these were different from the minute I tried them on. As for running in them, I have logged about 30 miles in them so far and I am realizing that your feet aren't suppose to be sore after going running. They are great and keep my feet comfortable during my runs so they aren't sore after.

So Comfy
During the Pandemic I was working from home so I wasn’t able to use the company gym or take walks at lunch on the walking path. So to get some exercise I began walk/jogging around my development. I realized quickly that I needed proper footwear and after much research ordered these Asics. I have Plantar Fasciitis and at the end of my walks I would have some heel pain. These shoes have taken away my pain. I wish I’d known about these years ago. You don’t need to spend $150 on a pair of running shoes to get a good comfortable pair. Try these. I think that you will be pleased.

Cushy and Decent feeling shoe for Wide feet and low arches..Designed for suppination
I have severe suppination And flat ,wide feet...Thats a strange combination but there it is..I walk hitting the heel ,then the outsides of feet first and often, my shoes would literally start folder Outwards becuz my feet were too wide and the shoe would let feet roll to the outside... these shoes do literally the opposite..they roll Inwards and have no protruding arch inside ...if anything, id say they take my outward rolling feet and almost roll them in a bit more than needed... ultimately, i wanted a shoe that would take my situation and make it Neutral...thats the ideal but these were a pleasant change from the deformed look my other sneakers would end up looking!..plenty of room for wide feet..almost too much room... lengthy fit fine, width at 4x wide was almost overkill as 2x wide is the right for me but these only come regular and 4x.. heel cush is the surprise as the gel in the contend 6's is Great and literally healed my plantar fasciatitus...it was so bad b4 i got these shoes that i was unable to walk for any distance with out severe pain, even just shopping... after a month in these ,it was gone and I walk and jog in these no issues..lastly, ive tried the contend 7 and these back to back and the 7 version is similiar in look but Vastly stiffer in cushion... nite and day difference! be warned if cush is what u want, try the contend 6 and steer away from the 7..

shoes not made correctly
I've worn Asics Venture 5 for years with no problem but they weren't available when I needed new shoes so tried these based on the reviews and messed up my right foot. They felt fine initially but then my right foot would hurt after taking off the shoes and I found I was developing calluses along the exterior outer edge of my right foot! I tried tying the laces differently, different laces, three different types of inner soles and kept having my right foot hurt after I take off the shoes. When the toe next to my big toe started hurting after wearing these shoes I gave up. What a waste of money because the left shoe was fine but the right shoe obviously was made incorrectly and the free returns isn't worthwhile because you have to wear these to find out there is a problem. It has made me not trust the Asics brand now.

Great value
I am a fan of Asics shoes I find they fit my feet well and these are no exception. I have run about 10 times in the so far and done some HIIT work and they are standing up well: no rubbing, nice support and comfortable.

Comfortable for everyday use but hard on the feet for longer runs.
These feel really comfortable for short runs and everyday use. However they feel harder than previous models and I am having pains in my ankles and toes following longer runs. If you are looking to run over 10 miles I would pay extra and get the nimbus or an alternative.

used Asics a few years ago.
Now started jogging again, I have been using other trainers. First run back in Asics was totally different.A much better experience. less leg fatique and more miles. I am thinking of buying a spare pair.

Great running shoes
I bought these shoes to take up a bit of light running; they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They look good too. So far they have twice transported me round the neighbouring streets and parks without any problems.
