These holsters got a bad rap because people that probably shouldn't be carrying guns (even police and military members) kept shooting themselves in the leg/foot, or just shooting the floor.If you're going to use one of these, especially with a bullet chambered, be absolutelysure you don't hit the trigger as you draw. Some people were putting too much pressure on the switch, pulling up quickly, and then hitting the trigger. I've used them for years and never had that problem. I didn't even know it was a problem until the Army started swapping away from these for that reason.I have these for my Berettas, Glock, and Sig and I can swap them from my armor mount, to leg mounts, to belt mounts quick and easy and only have to have one set of mounts for all of my holsters.

This is a great outside the waist holster. Very solid and secure and the comfort was very surprising. For the money I liked it so well I bought another for my Glock.

Very fast shipping. Well packaged.Use ~ Glock 36 for home defense. I prefer to have all handguns holstered.Very secure hold on weapon. The G36 is held securely in place until the release lever is depressed.Follow the directions and loosen the passive retention screw as instructed. The fit on the Glock 36 is snug. I prefer a looser fit so I lightly sprayed the inside of the holster with dry case lube. The G36 now slides nicely in and out of the holster.I also own the Blackhawk Serpa holster for a Glock 21.Coyote Tan. I have no color preference but yours opinion may differ.Concealed carry ~ I prefer a IWB for concealed carry. This holster does keep the weapon tight to the body but an over coat of some kind would be required to conceal your weapon.Very Highly Recommended

I love the Serpa holster and am glad I picked this one. It is light, affixes easily to the belt, and has an easy-to-use button release for my Glock. Prompt delivery and exactly what I ordered.

Holds my Glock 19X perfectly. Nice, secure click to let you know that the weapon is in place. Easy draw once you get used to the release button. This is an OWB holster. If you like your holster to be form fitting and fit snugly to your body and not imprint on your shirt, this is probably NOT the holster for you. Sticks out a bit, shows under your shirt. Not the best for concealed carry, but a very fine holster for open carry.

It's a Serpa Holster, what could be better. I have a number of Serpa's and I train with them constantly.If you are new to a Serpa Holster, DRY TRAIN FOR HOURS before you ever put a mag in your firearm. learn that the finger slide is that, a finger slide and you just draw in a straight manner that places your bang bang finger exactly where it has to be, above the trigger on the frame waiting for you to have the target in sight before you ever move to the trigger.Over the years the Serpa has gained some negative reviews from folks that ND in the holster. Sorry folks if you shot yourself in the leg or ass it is your fault, not the holster.The coloring is perfect on this holster and I like brown guns. X-19 Glock

An all around excellent product. The carbon fiber construction makes it durable and so light its weight is barely perceptible. The adjustable belt slot allows for use with almost any belt, The five position ride adjustment allows the holster to be used strong-side, crossdraw or small of the back. Change from one position to another is possible in about two minutes with a screwdriver.The release for the retention device is right where the trigger finger naturally lies during a proper drawstroke.The holster also comes with a paddle platform that allows the user to put on and take off the holster without undoing the belt.I have carried a gun for nearly 35 years and have tried a variety of holsters in different styles and materials. This holster is superior to all the others.

I bought it for a system I already had but the screws that come with it are to short. Still used it as a standalone holster that attaches to my belt.

This is a great holster. I can't say that enough. It has a great feel to it, easy to use, very natural placement of release tab and durable. My 19x fits beautifully.Edit- I’ve had this holster for a year now and still love it. Unfortunately you wouldn’t have known that as Amazon marked my review as “insensitive”???
