Did not know that there are two slots that if you want to shred items you better make them small enough as its a bit of trouble to use this item. Threw it in the trash as its not worth the effort so a store item was better.

It is not easy to use. You have to work so hard to get a little bit of cheese on your plate. You also can't fit much cheese.

This thing's a piece of crap that requires WAAAYYYY too much pressure to shred the little parmesan nuggets. (ps: I'm a strong guy, too) Maybe if it had a weight in the "plunger bit" but God forbid that would increase shipping costs from China, etc.In a nutshell: Don't waste your money on this.

dose not work well. no way to push on the cheese so it does not do a good job. do not buy

Used this a couple of times for Parmesan, after two weeks the black plastic ring that holds the metal grater plate won't stay tight. Now the grater just rotates with the cheese instead of cutting it, and the metal is cutting the plastic. Get a restaurant-style grater instead.

It was very difficult to use due the need for applying pressure to push the cheese into the grate all the while trying to hold the pieces together and twist at the same time. Also the grates are not very sharp.
