Il Volo

If only one could hear the guitar a bit louder it would match the rest of the album. It is a master piece of guitar works in the progressive mode.

The lack of information on the Amazon page should have made me more cautious. I follow an Italian group called Il Volo, but this isn't it. Very disappointed. Am sure that any information regarding the CD was purposely withheld by the Italian producer.

I am writing this only because so many il-informed consumers mistook this for a contemporary boy band and have very unfairly given it one star. This album you are looking at here is by a spin-off band of an earlier Italian art rock band called Formula 3. If you like Italian prog, in the romantic style of early PFM or Le Orme of Arte e Mestieri, then this is right up your alley. They have another album, dating from 1975, called "Essere O non Essere" which is also superb. It is also available here on Amazon, and sports a blue cover with white wings. A final thought, while today's Il Volo might be good at what they do (they are described by some as "operatic pop"- and I DO like Italian opera... could it be . .. .? Nah, probably not!) I do find it a bummer when I am looking for the few records by this 70s band and I have to wade through massively long lists of releases by the boy band. The older band should have sued, but I think they have been inactive for years, and, I don't know what Italian/EU law is on an act taking the name of an earlier one. Pity......

I am returning this CD. This is not Il Volo, the three Italian singers Whomever this is, it is not what I had anticipated. I have the other Il Volo CD's and they are excellent

This is a macnificent piece of progressive rock from the 70’s Band Called Il Volo, not related to the more recent Italian group of singers.If you got this by mistake, your mistake, give it a chance an listen to the guitar a bass player arrangements.

My fault. Didn't notice it was a vinyl. Thought it was a new album from the three young Italian men, Il Volo group from Italy.

Ottimo esordio di un supergruppo formato dai musicisti collaboratori di Battisti in sala d'incisione e sotto la supervisione di Mogol, peccato che sia durato lo spazio di 2 soli dischi (ottimo anche il secondo).Ottima rimasterizzazione e vinile perfetto.

というか、だらだら続く1分間の前奏（？）が終わってオンビートでドラムが入る瞬間。この一瞬がイルヴォーロのすべて。後はどうでもいい。正直イタリアのスーパーグループ的な言われ方をしている割にはたいしたことねえなという一枚だが、ときどき無性にこのA面１曲目のはいりを聞きたくてターンテーブルに乗せてしまい、そのまま片面聴いてしまう一枚。ただそれだけなんだが、一曲目だけは本当にカッコいい。

Il vinile suona bene, forse un po' basso, ma la masterizzazione è buona. Le voci erano tenute basse già all'epoca e tali sono rimaste. Accattivante il colore blu e l'etichetta che si adegua...La copertina è riproposta in modo fedele a quella originale. Un pezzo di storia della Numero Uno...che divertente leggere i commenti di chi l'ha acquistato credendo fossero i tre tenorini...questo è il VERO VOLO.

Great progressive rock band from Italia...if you like PFM or LE ORME or stuff like that you will enjoy IL VOLO. Nothing to see with the bubble gum band with the same name. Sorry for the sensitive souls.
