No central release opening
This net trap is roomy and easy to set up. However, the openings are so big that turtles can enter. I could deal with the turtles, but never the is no large opening for dumping, I have to reach in the minnow entrance and grab by hand, avoid injury, and wrangle them out.I wouldn't buy it again, but it will catch minnows.

Waste of money for the ocean currents.
If you're fishing for bait fish don't bother. It needed a 10 lbs weight to sink and good luck if the tide is strong. It's like a kite but underwater. If you're in a lake or pond it'll work but it will not sink. Need a heavy weight.

Defective quality and terrible service
This is an update to my first review. Contacted supplier and they responded with we have a return process but it’s to long and far, that I won’t be happy with it. Then they instructed me to find somewhere to take it and have it fixed. This is so crazy. Who ever heard of that. I have thrown it away and learned my lesson. Warning do not buy this product.

worked well
I used this to capture gold fish in my small backyard pond before I did it's annual cleaning. It worked very well and was a lot easier than trying to scoop them out with a small net. It might be a little flimsily made but I think it will hold up for my purposes.

No complaints
My teen son is addicted to fishing/ trapping. This has come in handy many times and is holding up nicely. I expected it to break after the first use,Lol

It will work very well for you for freshwater easy to fold up very convenient
I like how it convenient it was to take down to the bridge but anything that was heavy and large with slide-out edge of it so don't expect to put anything in there over 8 lb
