Was as advertised, fit phone. Doesn't hold charge much better than the one I was using , which was 3 years old. Charge every 3rd day, with minimal use of phone.

Works perfectly with the Alcatel Phone
Installed battery, plugged in phone. Phone immediately registered battery. Took about one hour and a half to charge to 100%.Note. You must push the red button and hold it for a few seconds for the phone to power on.Then it takes another few seconds for it to return to normal working mode.So far so good if I have any issues I will update.

Discharged battery packaged in an old Ziploc bag
Update 1/19/24Phone battery is completely dead in 5 months. The old battery is back in the phone now and working better than this "new" battery. If you buy this battery to try to improve battery life, save the old one as a back-up, you will need it. Lowering from 3 stars to 1 star.For a battery that was sold as 'new', it arrived in an old wrinkled Ziploc bag, which definitely did not inspire confidence. It took 4 hours to charge it from 0 to 100 and unfortunately has not improved the battery life of the phone over the 4-year-old battery that the phone originally came with. If you're looking to improve the battery you've been using all along, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you need a replacement for a lost or dead battery then it's functional and the charge lasts almost a day.

You can still get batteries for flip phones!
My Mom has a flip phone that is at least 5 years old. She refuses to use a smartphone. Her flip phone was not holding a charge. We called the cell phone store where it was purchased and, after laughing, she told us they do not carry batteries that old, and that we should try Amazon. We Googled how to remove the battery, popped the back case, looked for and found the battey and purchased it on Amazon. It arrived and she was right back in business. Thanks Amazon!
