MikeSandy, OregonI have had hot tubs for 40 years. I have always bought high end tubs because I had a family and friends to share it with. My last tub just gave up about 6 months ago and I have been looking for a replacement.I am much older now and the tub is just for me so I was looking for something small and not so expensive.I looked for about 5 months and decided to go with the Essential “Arbor” model.I had found a lot of good reviews on YouTube and made my decision.I was a bit uncomfortable about ordering something like this on line.Everything went perfect. It arrived on time in good condition. The communication was great. It is a very nice hot tub for the price. You can literally spend anywhere from $1500 to $20,000 for a spaThis is a good deal

Arrived Damaged
The hot tub arrived on Thursday, June 18th. The shipping company unpacked it and found that it was damaged, see pictures. The bottom cover panels had come lose and fallen inside the hot tub cavity. We decided to call Customer service, but no on answered. We went ahead and we plugged it in, according to the instructions, but it didn't work. The light came on, so we know it's getting power, but the jets don't work. I'll try calling customer service again on Monday. If I don't get an answer, I'll return it.Not very happy with this product. I would not recommend!

Don’t Buy!
Update: Manufacture came and fixed my pump, Been 2 weeks it’s been going great, said I just received a bad pump. Delivery service sucked! Took longer than expected and didn’t seem to care how much I spent taking it off the truck. Broke after 4 days! Pump ticked from the time we got it and that sent red flag. Woke up on day 4 and it’s completely shut off, waiting to call the manufacturer to see if they’ll even replace it or help. I’ll update if they decide to make things right

Great no-frills spa
**Update 10/19/2020:After conversion to 240v, which involves flipping switches on the pump’s electronics board, I learned that you must turn on a modes switch which permits operation in eco and sleep mode (I’m not sure if this would also work with 120v). After the conversion the heater seems to work faster and you can operate the high jets and heat simultaneously. Customer service hasn’t responded to some other questions I asked over a month ago about how the filter operates, and they haven’t sent free filters for the review. I get the impression that their slow response isn’t ONLY due to Covid, they’re just not as committed as they should be to servicing these models. The tub is working great, however. The only issue I’ve had has been a buzzing/vibrating which I’ve fixed by putting some rubber to dampen the vibration between the wood board that holds the pump and the bottom of the spa where the wood is attached. This has worked so far.**Original Review:This is a very nice spa for an entry-level DIY no-frills product that does exactly what you need and nothing more. The jets are powerful, the cabinet seems sturdy, the cover is nice, and the pump/heater seem to be of high quality. With 120v it won’t heat and operate jets simultaneously, but stays hot enough on a cool autumn evening to spend an hour or more in the spa.Shipping took 7 weeks, which was reasonable considering they build these to order (Strong Spas in Central PA) and Covid has no doubt vastly increased the demand. Install and startup was easy, the only hiccup was having to loosen a pipe to release an airlock, but I probably could’ve tried spraying water into the jets but didn’t do so because it isn’t recommended by the manufacturer. The functionality is basic, it seems the only settings you can modify are filter cycle frequency and lights (single color/rotating color/flash). Despite the manual indicating there are eco and sleep modes, they don’t work on this spa (pending response from customer service).I use 1” Bromine tabs and the chemicals are very easy to maintain once you learn the basics. We will be converting to 220/240v anyway because we’ve already heard from others here in the North that the heating becomes an issue in winter, $1,100 for the electrician to put in a spa panel seems worth it for years of use.Overall, I’m very satisfied especially with Amazon’s no interest financing.

Great value!
Absolutely love this hot tub! Easy to set up! Not difficult to move. Door to pump alittle ajar but overall very happy with tub and delivery. It took about 24 hours to heat up but not surprised for a plug and play. Very sturdy and multiple seat levels for different folks. Jets not as strong as my old hot tub but again for the value I am happy. I added a step and handle for my disabled hubby which will work well. Great addition to our deck!

Great little tub
I purchased this tub to fit in a tight space and it fit perfectly. I have been using it for about six weeks now without any issues. It provides nice room for four adults. The jets are powerful and the tub heats up well. It has been a big hit for the entire family. I do like the fact that each seat is at a different depth with the seat with 8 jets being the deepest in the water. I also like that each seat has different jet positions. The cover fit well but the clips need to be screwed in and I could only get two screws in, instead of three due to the design of the tub. In my case that is good enough because it is sheltered from the wind. The clips that I received are locking clips for a little more security.
