Extra length, not ideal for walking.
Compared to similar shoes that I've purchased, this was somewhat larger than expected, mainly in its length as the width seemed fine.The material will do well with water and bends well with the foot. It is comfortable as far as dress shoes may be concerned; however, I would not recommend walking a great deal in it nor wearing thin socks with it as the parts surrounding the ankle may rub down quite a bit.
