Good replacement only fault connection different order wiring diagram would have helped had to search gogle to find out wiring diagram but works well now

Customer Service is key! Easy install, popped right in, but when I plugged it in, the saw came on!!! Called the seller and got a real live person!!!! They were obviously concerned and said they had a similar issue with the body being reversed so I should order a new one. Later I got a text from the seller and he had researched it and said if I reversed the wiring it should not be an issue. Problem solved. Bottom line, is they answered the phone, then followed up to solve my problem and my saw works great now.

Good fit, snappy action, but so far doesn't appear like it will last in a production environment - contacts burnt out within 6 months. Positive side is the price, so its cheap to get multiple; which you should stock up on, as DeWalt doesn't make a switch for this saw anymore.

It was easy to install, but works backwards. You must hold the trigger to stop the blade. I don't know if there is a way to redo the wires to make it work correctly??? I moved the wires from old to new switch so I KNOW there were attacked to the correct spot.So frustrating.

Pro's-Perfect fit replacement with no issues. I personally replaced 2 cords on my Dewalt DW708 saws.Con's-I believe I had to remove 16 screws to remove and replace the power cord.

I put the switch on wired it exactly the way it was plugged it in and the saw started running before I even touched the switch. What a rediculus pile of trash. Doesn’t even fit right. I’m glad I ordered brushes from another vendor. Cuz they worked. The ones that can with the china trash. Did not even look like the ones that it was. Very disappointed especially when it says on the website and label that it would fit NOT !

Have been looking for this switch for a number of years since Dewalt discontinued them ,finally my saw is back to normal. Switch arrived relatively promptly fits well although there is a small gap on the right side of the the trigger that your finger can get pinched in . Fits and wires up perfectly and now my electric brake on my saw is back running. Use my saw as a home renovator and have had it for 17 years and it sees a lot of use so well see how long the switch lasts but at least you can get one here if you need.Haven't installed brushes yet the brushes so don't know about them. overall very happy , would recommend.

Brushes were excellent but switch defective. Cutting in and out when used. Installed old switch and problem disappeared.

Works like a charm once we figured out the wiring
