I bought this for our back porch (27x11) because we have crazy mosquitos for some reason even though we don’t have water in our yard. I’ve used it for a few hours so far and didn’t pay enough attention to it until this evening when I was getting ate up by bugs so I placed it right next to me and haven’t seen a mosquito since I turned it on, and I had several that were attacking me right before I turned it on. I’d say it works.The scent isn’t strong, almost nice, it smells really faintly like something is burning but it’s not bad at all. Overall, worth the purchase if you keep it close.

I sat outside at dusk before using this and i instantly became dinner for the mosquitos. i used this and they took off for greener pastures. I have to tried to start it 4-10 times before the igniter works. and the orange glow is barely visible. I don't know if it will last though, but when it finally works, it works pretty well

I placed this little gem on a trivet under a table between two chairs on our back deck (15' x 15'), one, so it won't get knocked over by our dog and two, so it sits on a flat surface. I've not had a single pesty blood sucker show up yet when in use & this is our third year using it. It's super easy to turn on and off but I have forgotten to turn it off & it used a whole fuel cell. There is no odor whatsoever. Thankfully it's also easy to reload and the refills are affordable too. Highly recommend.

I have a mosquito pest control treatment plan, but that is not enough for my patio, so I thought I'd try this for a seating area. The first box, including the the actual unit, worked well enough (although very hard to initiate) that I ordered refills. (Two, unfortunately) I had a very difficult time getting that refill to "fire". MANY bites later, I realized the light had gone out and I was unable to get it to re-ignite. This is a huge fail for me.

Doesn't work for me. They STILL eat me alive.

I've used the personal-sized OD green and camo thermacells during spring turkey season for years and been very pleased with the ease of use and effectiveness. I thought I'd give this patio version a try for around the grill and at sporting events for my kids. So far, so good. Among a group of lawn chairs, it seems to work really well at repelling mosquitos. Same mechanics as the personal-sized version with the fuel canister and the repellent wafers. I bought two of these. So far, I've only had to use one.

I have a balcony space that's been getting a LOT of use during this lockdown. In years past, enjoying my balcony required switching my perfume to bug spray. I bought the thermacell to be able to enjoy the outdoor space without the bug spray. It has worked great! I have spent considerably more time on my balcony due to the COVID shut down and I'm still rocking zero bug bites.It's extremely easy to set up and has virtually no smell, additionally it's compact size makes storing a breeze.
