HAD one similar to this years ago. Was much bigger in diameter and... It worked.Tried 3 different kinds of line. Won't hold it, spits it out, close to useless for getting anything done.Zero instructions or specifications for which size line to use.Cheap hard plastic line that came with it was horrible.Using. .105 lineVery difficult to load. Not happy with spending more non productive time fiddling with line, thank am getting the weeds done.Wish I could find one that worked, like I used to have.

Well made and it's what I expected.

I bought it for a small lawn trimmer before I realized the line feeder was not replaceable. I plan to give it a test on a larger unit and may add another star.I tried it on a larger unit and it cuts well and is worth the money, but I am not changing the stars because it's not an easy line change and when using smaller line you have to tie a knot to keep it from flying out

Waste of time and money when there are other options out there.

What I do is ty a not in the middle of 18 to 20 inch stringHave used one close to 200 hours with only one clearing land and brush
