Long-sleeve sun shirts are very fashionable for equestrians right now. As I live in an area with high humidity and high temperatures, I was skeptical that I could wear the long sleeves for several hours in the sun without experiencing serious discomfort. However, the moisture-wicking material and vented arms have a cooling effect. Plus, because your skin is shielded from the sun, you don't get as warm--and you don't need to worry about sunburn! I have worn this shirt all day in the summertime and have it just as comfortable as being in a cotton t-shirt. I bought the shirt in Aster Blue and am very happy with it. The color is vibrant but not gaudy, and the style is professional and modern. Unlike other brands, Horze offers the shirt in darker colors, which is a great, practical option if you are purchasing a shirt for everyday riding. Most of the sun shirts I have seen offered are only in light colors or white, which show every little stain. You don't have to worry about that with the darker colors Horze offers.What I REALLY love about this product, though, is the price. Most shirts in this style from the big name brands cost $75 and up! I am building up my riding wardrobe on a budget, and Horze was the only brand that made it possible for me to afford multiple sun shirts to ride in. This Horze shirt is not a lightweight or as soft as the more expensive brands; however, it is great quality and style for the price.I found the sizing to run a little smaller than expected, maybe about half a size. I purchased a Size 6 and would that its fit is comparable to a Size Small in the Kastel or EIS brand sunshirts.

Shipped fast and fit perfectly. I love these shirts and they keep me cool in the hot humid weather. They hold up well with regular use and barn stains come out easily. I do wash them on delicate cycle.

This is a really cool shirt! I'm sick of farmer's tan and getting sunburned on my upper chest area, so I decided I should try one of these "technical shirts". The inner stripe along the arms is a fine mesh, so it's really airy. Currently I usually wear more like size 8 or 10, but I went up to 12 because these types of shirts are supposed to be "fitted" and I didn't want it to be clingy. The purple is lighter in person than it appeared to me on the screen, so it's nice, not too "grape". I'm going to get a lot of use out of this, need to get more! Horze brand products are really great, good value, I have never been disappointed with anything I've gotten from them.

I really love this sunshirt. I have several sunshirts made by different brands, including Ariat, Dublin, Tuffrider and Horze/Equinavia. This sunshirt has quality comparable to the Ariat shirts and the fabric is actually a little cooler and more breathable.

Got this as a gift for my niece... Since she's a kid and growing, I didn't want to drop major bucks on a kastel or similar. But this fits her perfectly and performs well.

Love the color. Have bought similar in past and have been happy with size, the way it washes up and holds up to wear. It keeps you cool. Very nice product. Good price

Lightweight fabric with good fit but not breathable and cool like other sunshirts I own. Cheaper than other sunshirts. I probably won’t wear this during the heat of the summer but it’s fine for the rest of the year.
