Epsoak Scented Epsom Salt Bundle - Sleep Formula 2 lbs. & Muscle Soak 2 lbs.

This was actually hard for me to rate, because I think a comparable product could have been found cheaper elsewhere. So why buy them you ask? Because sometimes, Amazon just saves my backside and I just need some saving of my butt more then my wallet. I do a lot of therapy stuff with my son, and so this is getting better, but sometimes runs into the store are a workout and a sideshow for others rolled all into one. Like my last Safeway trip, where he fought me going up onto my shoulders, ripping out my earing in the process, so I had to wrestle him there, and keep him safe while I put the earing back in and trudged through the store in pursuit of his beloved bananas. I'm pretty sure the clerk had no idea what to say to me as I was checking out with him up there. So sometimes, it's worth being ripped off just a little if I don't feel like dealing with all that.For the product, I just needed the plain Epsom salts...because my handsome little guy can be a handful, things I can take care of myself, like infected toe nails, etc...I totally splice them open and do it on my own. And that's what I used that for. But I did test out the other bags of salt as well. One of the things I like is that the bags actually seal back up...sometimes, when you buy these products, the zipping closure is total crud and doesn't work. I also like that these are strongly scented.As a piece of trivia, according to WebMD, you can use as little as a cup of the salts in your bath and have it still be effective. So, given the price of these, that's the path I'd recommend. There really aren't many studies that support the use of these salts per se for many of the things they are used to treat, but I can say they feel nice in the bath, they smell great, especially the mint one, and that a concentrated amount in a separate smaller tub definitely can help clear up a nasty infection in the toenail area.

So what people want to know is are they worth it; well that depends really. If you're big on the aromatherapy side of bath salts the answer is a big YES these are absolutely worth it. If you just want the muscle relieving side of bath salts I would suggest a cheaper brand. My boyfriend and I have been on a bath salts kick for probably 8 months now, and we have tried different brands. When I purchased these I honestly didn't know how much product I was getting. Yes I know it's listed in the description but I am a visual person, and need to usually see the actual size, but I needed something in a hurry, and you know Prime membership and all. When I got them my first thought was that I paid too much for the quantity I received, however once I used them I must say I do think they were worth the $15 I paid. The aromatherapy of the lavender and the peppermint were worth it to me; the third bag did not have a scent to it. I bought a bag of lavender scented bath salts from Walmart when I ran out of these, and even though the bag was twice the size of one of these bags and only cost $5 it was not worth it for me. The reason the Walmart one was not worth it to me is that by the time I filled up the tub, and got in it to soak the lavender scent was gone. With these salts the scent lasts throughout my entire soak which is generally 30 mins to an hour.

So I ordered this because it was a lightening deal. Then I tried it. Oh my. Wow. This is better than the regular 'stuff'. Seriously. After I soak in my tub using this product, my sore muscles feel much better. Each option in the bundle has its appeal. Thus, I ordered a second bundle. This is the ultimate praise for a product. If I order it again, yeah, you rock. Ergo. I recommend this product. I suffer from daily aches and pains. Maybe it's because I sit in front of computer for my job. Maybe it's because I'm in menopause and I need extra relief due to not sleeping well, etc. Or maybe it's because I don't stretch / exercise / get the right vitamins. All I know is that I wake up with sore muscles and when I soak in this stuff, I feel better. That's enough to say, yeah, I like it, recommend it and want to get more of it. (Note: I have high blood pressure. I read that soaking in Epsom salt reduces blood pressure. Since I've been using this, my results at the doctor's office have been 'within normal range'. Yes, I try to also reduce salt intake and attempt to eat a better diet. But I believe that ongoing soaking in a substance that supplies magnesium helps ensure success in this health concern.)

After a lifetime on my feet, and chemotherapy that caused the skin of my feet and my toenails to shed, my oncologist #uggested soak8ng my feet in Epsom salts. That did the trick, so soothing and restful for my tired aching feet. And, then my toenails grew back with a double thickness, oh woe is me. The only way I can cut my toenails is to soak my feet and then tend to my toenails.I was using the Epsom salts from my pharmacy until I read about these Epsom salts. I am not sure what the difference is, but these Epsom salts are so much better. Soaking my feet is a luxury every night, it seems to cure my ills and I feel so much better. I would suggest anyone with feet issues to soak with these Epsom salts, and compare the difference in how you feel.Recommended. prisrob 02-13-18

This is my second purchase of the Ultimate Epsoak Epsom Salt Bundle-3 pack. I am a retired police officer who retired in March of 1989. I was involved in a head on collision were I sustain multiple injuries from the fleeing felons who struck my patrol car head on.(no airbags in the patrol cars in those days) I went through 51/2 years of physical therapy and 5 years of speech,cognitive and pain management programs. I finally found a product that has given me relief from that gnawing burning pain that I have lived with since the accident on April 28th,1987. It works for me and I am now saving to remodel my bathroom to put in a larger tub. You have a customer for the remaining years of my life no matter how long or short that maybe.
