The Purple Don: Mystery Thriller Suspense Novel (Illuminati Novel)

This is typically not a book I would ever purchase, but I am so glad I did!One of the first things that draws my eye is obviously the extremely pleasant cover. The purple coloring is gorgeous, fits the theme perfectly and looks like they really took the effort on making this book grab your attention. For me, this is typically how I pick books (slightly cliché, I know.) I just absolutely love the design.My life is entirely too busy, so it took me a little while to finish this book; typically, however, I am a fast reader who can finish a book of this size in a few hours if I have no distractions. I do love the style of writing though and the way the story is laid out. While it does contain a lot of stereotypes and clichés, it was an interesting read. I would recommend reading it in a much shorter timeframe than I did, rather than trying to spread it out, but the way the text is laid out and how well done the writing is made this much less of a hassle for me than it would normally be.Overall, I do recommend this book, though normally “Illuminati spy thrillers” are typically not my reading style. Sometimes it is nice to go outside the box; books are what you utilize to escape the normalcy of everyday life, and this story definitely allowed me to do that!

Reviewing a book is a lot more difficult than reviewing any other product because it relies on subjective rather than objective. Sure, it has a cover, pages, and is full of words - it works perfectly as a book. In terms of whether or not I liked the content of the book, thats different. This book was not something I enjoyed reading. The characters were all stereotypes, the mafia angle was unoriginal, the sex scenes were standard with the exception of the M-M rape, which requires the reader believe in the whole “I saw in their eyes that they really wanted it” BS to justify rape. At one point, the main character temporarily develops a thick Italian accent, but it’s not consistent throughout the book. There are multiple typos. All in all, it feels as if the book was thrown together with little thought or energy into the content.

I loved the way this novel kept me constantly on the edge of my seat. With unexpected twists and turns, it was hard to set this book down. What I enjoyed most about the book is the level of character development along a journey filled with self-destruction and growth.

It was a good and easy read with twists and turns everywhere. If you like a raunchy story, this is for you. My wife even liked it and read it straight through in one setting. It was a surprising story but in a good way.

I was hopping for a part 2 but ummmm I guess not. This book was really good, I'm from NYC so I know about dem Italians.

Definitely a page turner with lots of twists. A high price to pay for low living all around. No one is to be trusted not even you.
